My wife and I met Erick when he was acting as the selling agent for the first home we had ever visited. We were prospective buyers and did not have a realtor at the time. Although we did not buy that home, we liked his character and sales approach and asked if he would be our purchase agent.

My wife and I work as an Engineer/Nurse combo with fairly demanding/odd schedules, and we were buying a home during a competitive spring 2023 market in the ~550 -750 k range. The scarcity of houses in our range required Erick to be quickly available during odd hours. Erick was easy to get a hold of, and made time to tour Houses all over Calgary in the price range we were looking for. Erick knew we really only had a single neighbourhood in mind… so he treated the viewing opportunities to teach us about good vs bad house flips, and played a huge role in shaping what we considered the “perfect house”. During this time, he never used any sales techniques to push any homes on us that were outside of our criteria.

Erick dealt with a rather difficult “for sale by owner” on our behalf and was even able to assist in negotiating a lower price on the home.

Erick became a shepherd through the whole process. He recommended a phenomenal mortgage broker who aside from being a wealth of knowledge, went up against the large banks and negotiated a rate below the average rate at the time. Erick then put us in touch with lawyers who completed the land acquisition process.

Erick was a wealth of knowledge to two people who were very inexperienced when it came to the home buying process. He put in a great effort for the commission, and I appreciate everything he did for us.
