I have been renting from Laebon Rental Communities for the past 18 months, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent!! The properties are always impeccably clean and well-maintained, which makes coming home a pleasure every day. 🙂

In October 2021 our team was given an opportunity to perform landscape work for Laebon Rental Communities and to this day our business together has continued to grow.

As a small company we didn't know what to expect, but right from the start we were treated with the upmost respect from Matthew and his team. We look forward to getting to their sites each week and running into the staff and tenants has always been absolutely fantastic!

In the ten years I have lived here the last four have been the worst! Rent has increased over four hundred dollars with nothing to show for it. Hallway carpets need replacing as well as lobby furniture. They have a coffee bar in each building but pods are put out maybe once a week. Turnover of tenants is constant. Laebon has become all about the money with no empathy to seniors.

A tenant on the first floor had a grease fire, resulting in the entire building being evacuated. Everyone was safe, but the building did not address it at all to its tenants despite their tenants being evacuated and visible damage that affected the main floor for many months. (No baseboards, floor torn up). There were multiple occasions where there were leaks on the main floor, where tenants were trying to get ahold of maintenance or anyone with laebon and we would not receive a response. Myself and another tenant went knocking on peoples doors to warn them of the leak.
Very poor experience with the general manager, Matthew. Very condescending.

Of our $1500 deposit we only received $600 back.
They wanted carpet cleaning after only staying for 4 months of renting the unit. $500 lease break fee, plus we had to pay the rent until they found a new tenant so another $500.
I fixed the holes myself and got charged because the bathroom paint was old and the new paint didn't match, even though it matched the rest of the walls fine.

Initially we were charged $500 for having two cats, which does not go towards any damage coverage, it's just for being allowed to have them. Ridiculous.

They say it's all justified, but they overcharge and of all my time renting I've never had this bad of an experience when it comes to fees and costs.

The staff were pleasant to deal with, but laebons policies absolutely suck. I wouldn't recommend renting here
