I was introduced to Jon through my partner, who had previously worked with Jon in purchasing her condo a few years back. He was engaged in the months leading up to our final commitments towards hunting and buying, indulging us in some market discussions.
And when we decided to start jumping in, Jon was super-engaged in helping us find the right home for us. He listens earnestly, and understood what we were looking for even before we could describe it. Even while we jumped around from looking in the greater Vancouver area to look into Squamish, he kindly joined us there for a quick Saturday tour too... and even more importantly patiently understood as we changed our minds again and focused back into Vancouver area.
Through it all, Jon was always willing to share his perspective, doing so in an informative way that helped us make our decisions. When it came time to offer, his willingness to share perspective really helped assure us through the process as well. And it certainly wasn't an easy one; negotiations took a bit of back and forth, and Jon was calm and kept us moving forward through it. He helped us understand what things have been significant issues in sales in the past, and got us looking past the superficial things.
Ultimately, we ended up with a wonderful new home, and a lot of that was due to having Jon on our team.

As first time home buyers, Jon did an excellent job of guiding us through this very complex experience. His website is very easy to use and helpful for novices like us to get a feel for the market without having to spend tons of time on various websites. He explained everything to us in simple terms so we could understand and make more informed decisions.

Jon was always available by call or email/text when we had questions and was very on top of research & scheduling viewings when we were busy with our personal lives. He looked for things during viewings and in condo documents that we may have missed and advocated for us strongly. For example, we were ready to make an offer on a condo but later Jon found via the depreciation report that the unit could be responsible for up to $65k in assessment fees in the next few years. He really saved us there!
