I've stayed here many times as being a gold/diamond member I try to stick with Hilton but the last couple times haven't been good at all, maybe there's new management over the last few months or something but from the check in/front desk employee just looking completely unprofessional and frustrated when having to check people in and not greeting us to providing water and info to the God awful smell of old gross deep fryer oil throughout the ENTIRE place as soon as you walk in the front doors and light bulbs out in rooms to mold and water damage in halls on ceilings and rooms having damaged or broken lights, coffee and side tables, broken shower heads and faucets, there was 3 of us that kept having breathing issues in rooms and halls and even on the 5th floor we could still smell the fryer smell which makes me wonder how clean is the kitchen and stuff if the fryers smell this bad there seems to be no air circulation or maybe they are having issues with that too but we all had issues when the heat was on in our room with our eyes, nose and throat burning, we thought it was just maybe a one off but this happened yet again in 2 different rooms! Do yourself a favor for now until they get their act together here and go to Hampton where the service and cleanliness is way better for what you pay and breakfast is included!

Room was clean and roomy. Had a suite for five people so needed three beds. This filled the bill. There were even two bathrooms which were quite convenient. |Continental breakfast was not included in the room price. It was $10.99 for each adult and was less than stellar. Dry bagels, dry cereal, a bit of fruit that ran out too soon, yogurt, toast and muffins. |The kids could order a hot meal from the menu for $8.99 and could eat from the continental breakfast bar as well. Made no sense. |The pool in the morning had not been cleaned or tidied from the night before. Dirty towels were lying around from the night before and clean ones were not replenished. |The hotel itself was situated in a quiet part of town so that was nice.

Not a bad hotel. Nice staff. Daily room cleanings not a thing, so lost a star for that, and when we asked for new towels all our towels for three people (including all face cloths and hand towels) were replaced with 2 bath towels and a floor mat. The hotel is a little out-dated and the shower function in the tub was a bit dodgy, but the staff were super friendly and the location was relatively convenient.

This is the worst Hilton Garden Inn I have stayed at. We were given a hotel voucher by West Jet due to a missed connecting flight. I chose this hotel from a list of choices because I've stayed at other Hilton Garden Inns before and have had a pleasant stay, but not this particular one. What a disappointment!!! I would have given it a zero star but it's not an option. This hotel is so dated. The hallway is dark with dirty carpet. The doors are also dirty and full of scuff marks. The room furniture are so worn out and smells like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks if not months. The worst thing is that the room did not have hot water!!! The bathroom was so dingy looking too. Upon check out, I conveyed to the reception clerk about no hot water. No apology was given and I was told that I was the only and first one to make such a complaint. But after reading the reviews, another guest a few weeks ago, also did not have hot water.

Stay away from this hotel if you value a decent or pleasant stay !!!!

I had the worst experience at this hotel. I stayed for one night after a long business meeting with several clients in Edmonton, and the entire stay was a disaster. Check-in was absolutely dreadful— the process took over 35 minutes, and the staff member at the front desk failed to explain anything about the hotel, including breakfast or its facilities.

When I got to my room, I discovered there was no hot water, the bathroom pipe was not properly fixed, and there were no towels provided.

The next morning, I went to the lobby for breakfast, only to find out that the person who checked me in had not given me the required breakfast coupon. When I approached the front desk to ask for one, I was told that the system was down. I waited for 14 minutes with no resolution, so I eventually gave up, returned to my room to shower, and checked out.

This experience was incredibly disappointing and ruined my entire day.

Stayed for one night. Had also booked two more stays at this hotel for another stopover next week here in Edmonton. This one night experience, unfortunately, here was not the best.

Staff was okay. Regular greeting. Rooms are outdated(old HGI style), my room was cold(you could feel the draft). Even with the AC on, it's noisy. Not good if you need to wake up for an early flight. Also, my room, not the cleanest. You can notice dust in certain areas. Bathroom was very limited with towels, and you could notice the "quick" cleaning. The worst part was the smell throughout the hotel. As if there were no HVAC functioning to recycle the air. Not that hard(or expensive), to keep a neutral air ambiance in a hotel nowadays. Fitness room is a bit disorganized, tv with high volume, no individual tv on the treadmills(no access). One Peloton bike, not connected to the internet. Useless.

I just don't understand when you have other hotels around with very similar prices, you need to be competitive for a sustainable business which are you guests word of mouth and coming back to give you more business. HGI hotels are sometimes a hit and miss, there are really great HGI hotels with even the old style furnishings which are nice and clean. Cancelled the other two stays and booked elsewhere at a very similar price.

Booked this for an annual event and had my family travel across the country in expectation of the Hilton quality name….. unfortunately this was not the case…. The room showed paid marks on the door, garbage behind the nightstand, light bulbs out and bathroom fans not working, when I reported this on day one of a three night stay it would get looked into I never heard anything else and no resolution. Had to constantly ask staff for towels which we had to retrieve for ourselves not a big deal but I’ve had better service elsewhere, the room “cleaning” was make the bed and leave nothing else. Paid for a continental breakfast again no direction to what was available and no answers to any questions…. I did meet one person on the desk who was quite lovely and helped with my digital key after I was told by two others there was “system” errors…. In an area with many places to stay and cheaper options providing exceptional services stay away from this place it may have the Hilton Promise signs but clearly that promise is broken.
