The maintenance team was so quick (less than 24 hours from the time the request was submitted) to come attend to my concern regarding the AC. Due to the lack of vents in my small studio apartment, it was not effective in reaching my unit. Despite this, they lent me a portable AC and installed it with a hospitable and kind attitude, completely addressing my concerns.

Not just myself, but my two cats thank you for being so careful of our comfort as we reside in this property. It's already so much cooler and it is nice to live from a development company that cares for its tenants.

Would definitely recommend for future renters!

Edit: Adding some more information here as I'm having the best time staying with YWD. I accidentally locked myself out of my unit and the maintenance team was able to come within 15 minutes (potentially less, actually) to get me access to my unit again. It is very comforting to have a reliable team at your access always. Thanks again so much!

I've had a great experience with the property management company, especially their efficient and reliable maintenance team. I had an issue with my stove late at night (past 10 PM), I called the emergency line, and by 8 AM the next morning, a technician was at my door, promptly diagnosing and fixing the issue. Even for minor, non-urgent repairs, the team is quick and efficient, resolving problems in just a couple of days. Highly recommend their services!

Great company! I am a brand new tenant, haven’t even moved in or picked up the key to my unit yet, and earlier this week some items I ordered online arrived to the property early. I called the companies emergency line after hours, and within 15 minutes someone had already driven to the property, picked up my package, and brought it back to their office for safe keeping until I am ready to come pick it up.

They are a business first people last kind of company. Try to avoid renting from them. They gaslight you about repairs, jack up prices at any chance they can, and do not communicate clearly. They will evict you before attempting to reach a solution. Not good for community. Not good for tenants.

Fantastic experience in having Sal and Janet represent our home when we needed to rent it out, we felt we were in good hands at every step of the way. The understood how much we care about it and that we wanted for the tenants to treat it like a home and not a house, and they found the perfect individuals. The cutting edge 3D photography was mind blowing and made a huge difference. I look forward to having them represent us in the near future (but not too near, we love our current tenants).

I rarely write reviews, but I have to in this instance. I have dealt with a couple of property management firms and must say that York West makes the landlord experience worry and stress-free. Their team is courteous and efficient. Best of all, they are knowledgeable about the downtown rental market and savvy with tenant screening. They promptly address my tenants' needs. As someone who once self-managed, York West's expert service has been invaluable to my sanity. I highly recommend York West to any landlord considering contracting their services.
