Unresponsive and operates contrary to advertised. I phoned and exchanged texts with them but they never called me back as promised to make an offer. A month passed so I went elsewhere.

Kevin and Charlie are the bees knees when it comes to a house buying team. Kevin took our call after we landed on their website, and explained how they work. He then came to see our house and made us a reasonable offer on the spot, which we accepted.
Then Charlie took over and was our point of contact until the closing.

Very unprofessional these guys came to my home and insulted me about my house that's worth 389,000.00 trying to say my newly renovated home was only worth 100k and that there was mold on a facial board which was infact a wasps nest! They also stated that my house has structural issues and is sinking due to one cupboard in my bathroom that wasn't flush to the ceiling. I have contacted 4 different home buyer companies and all were fantastic to deal with but this one! The worst treatment I have ever in my life received ever! These guys are very very rude, argumentative, belligerent, hostile and very aggressive trying to push you to sell your home at fair below its current value and worth so they can profit off of poor individuals that need to get out fast from their homes. It was only after them insulting my home, myself as well as the neighborhood and my neighbors homes when i finally had enough and I myself had to get belligerent back to get them to finally leave my property (and not return yet again), my son and myself alone! I asked them to leave a few times prior, to have them come back 3 times to still harass us to sell them our house for only 100,000.! They also thought they could bypass myself the sole owner of the property/house to speaking to my 19 yrs old son. Thinking they could somehow degrate our place to him and convince my son to go forward with agreeing to sell to them for basically nothing! I am guessing because I was siting outside in my car because it was raining with my dogs to allow them to go threw the home freely and had my son show them threw the house is maybe where they got the crazy idea that a 19 year old had say or ownership of the property. Mind you I have owned this home for 19 years to where my mortgage and purchase price was for 120,000. So in their minds apparently my home actually decreased in value over 19 years and constant upkeep as well as renovations rather than increased! This is something ive never heard of before in my life! Do yourselves a favor and do not contact this company! There is GTA House Buyers very professional and kind as well as Fast Ontario Home Buyers which are also very kind, honest, Thorough and professional which will actually work with you to get you the best price for your home possible if you need to relocate fast and cannot wait on the current slow market we have now Fallin into since Covid began.

Your response is untrue! I have actual proof it was indeed your company, and I stand behind my review 💯💯💯💯! Your guy, I went to court against even as he tried, in response to my complaints as well as bad review to cost me my beloved dogs! So please don't try to lie now stating otherwise! I also still have the text threads between myself and your unprofessional men. Their phone numbers as well as names.

I was looking to sell one of my properties and I had seen one of their flyers so I called them to see what they can offer. They asked me the address/details of the property and then came after few hours to offer an amount (subject to actual visit to the property) that was 35% below the comparable market price. I thought there must have been some misunderstanding so I provided them market data about other identical properties that were sold with in the past 30 days. So they come back to me after a day saying the max they could offer is around 25% below the market price. I was still trying to understand why such a huge gap in the price so on probing, they indicated that this is how their 'business' works.

I had thought I could do away with exorbitant brokerage commission (charged by real estate agents) by exploring this option but this seemed more like a rip off. Why would any one want to sell to you is beyond my understanding.

In the end, I offered to buy any similar properties in the same neighborhood (in the similar price range that they offered) that they may want to sell. Obviously, I haven't heard from them.

Note: I never leave reviews but this seemed like something that should be disclosed for everyone to see.

Good company to have buy my property. We tried to sell on MLS for months, and did sell to True North House Buyer for less than we had it on MLS for, but avoided realtor commissions and finally got rid of the headache.

Be very aware of this scam. A professional looking company won't leave you a letter in your mailbox that looks like it was written by a 12 year old in crayon. Problem is, when enough people complain or report them, they just create a new website and start scamming all over again.

A horrible business model; monopolizing off the current market is disaster capitalism, and this kind of behaviour is one of the driving forces behind the housing crisis. You'll pay me $1,000 to help you buy someone else's house? Gross. Under-offer in this economy? Gross. No elaboration on why they want to buy so many properties? I can only conclude their goal is to take advantage of the money they can earn with all of this inflation.

Also, I really wish they would stop sending me their cards in the mail.
