I highly recommend 2517 Lake Shore Blvd. West, Etobicoke. I have loved living here.
The rent is affordable, the monthly hydro, reasonable, year round. The area cannot be beat being so close to parks, to Lake Ontario, with transit at my doorstep and for food, with a wide variety of options within walking distance.
2517 Lake Shore Blvd. West, Etobicoke is pet welcoming and family friendly. The walls are thick. I work shift work and it is always quiet in my unit.
I have always felt safe at 2517 Lake Shore Blvd. West. With working cameras and entry intercom, I have never experienced any trespassers onsite. No one has ever tampered with my mailbox, nor with my unit door. I have never had any issues with anyone breaking into my vehicle.
I have always had the best neighbours. Welcoming neighbours to any one new to the building and who look out for one another.
Superintendent Peter Dwyer has very much been the most approachable, reachable and most efficient of the Superintendents during by ten year tenancy here. Any issues I've had with my unit (and there were not many) have always been dealt with swiftly by Superintendent Peter. Well lit at all times, with a nice, clean laundry room, this building, inside and out is the cleanest and tidiest it has been since my tenancy.
Grateful to Superintendent Peter for keeping us tenants safe and sound; much thanks to Aynsley and Mohammad, two fantastic staff members working the administration side for The Morassutti Group.

I absolutely love my apartment. The super is friendly and courteous and the neighborhood is great. Repairs were taken care of quickly (I only had a few minor ones when I moved in). The building is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend , I feel safe living here with my daughter and I am very happy here , I know it's extremely hard finding apartments with affordable rents and the rent increases here are very fair.

I live in one of the buildings that are managed by The Morassutti Group. My family and I have lived here a few years and we have never experienced problems with the upkeep of the building. The superintendents are easily reached and have always attended to our requests. I highly recommend renting from this company and wouldn’t hesitate to rent at another location in the future.

These people are awful. They promised us an apartment. We were approved, and then after two weeks told us “no never mind you didn’t get it, the owner changed his mind”. This is not acceptable. We have now wasted two weeks of our apartment search. Now we have only two weeks left to find a place. We fit all their criteria so I have to think someone accepted a bribe. This is despicable!

If I only could give them minus 5 stars... The Kingsway complex, sup. - Nellie (name might be spelled wrong, he never properly introduced himself). Head office managers responsible for the complex - Ansley and Merve.
1. They don't care. At all.
2. They don't care about maintaining. Windows are old and welcoming wind with the "open hands".
3. Enter door knows how not to let you in and sometimes out. But, as mentioned above - they don't care.
4. Because of the poor maintenance you will have the wide range of insects inside of your apartment. And racoons will be very pleased to show you their appreciation of your hospitality by running the roof marathon throughout the night. Charming isn't it?
5. If you will decide to complain or just to make a call - no one will answer to you. Ansley and Merve is permanently out of their jobs due to vacation (dream job, eh?) and out of this particular galaxy I guess, cos reaching them is an impossible mission even for Tom Cruise.
6. And your superintendent will be a Jon Snow, cos obviously he knows nothing. Every question or inquiry he will redirect to the Ansley and Merve, but we already know, they are out of this planet and might never come back, so this is just eternal unlogical and irresponsible circle of redirecting.
7. But, they will be here if they want to rise your rent up. And you will might have a chance even to see these divine creatures. Or you'll get a letter from them, but it's something, eh.
8. Laundry room is poor equipped and the washing machine will eat your clothes, or it will try at least, that will give to your shirts small sweet holes and an old blue french cheese odour. Very hip.

Overall - never ever rent anything fron Morassutti. Please. For your sake.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They have left me with rodents in the ceiling of my bedroom for over 4 months now. Being forced to move out. The company has proved to be extremely incompetent. You've been warned!

2001 Bloor St W - a classic Toronto apartment building on the edge of High Park, great bones, lots of long-term renters, and the best super in Toronto.
