Disappointed, to say the very least...

Like many others, my partner and I have been struggling to find pet friendly accomodations amidst the housing crisis and thought Broadstreet and their multitude of new, "pet friendly" apartments would be our saving grace.

Alas, not the case!

Though strongly advertised as Pet Friendly across all platforms, Broadstreet allows only cats and dogs (with huge limitations at that) and does not permit small caged animals or aquariums (which is what we currently own) yet nowhere is this information posted on Broadstreets online rental information.

We were so thrilled to have found so-called pet friendly housing in an ideal location boasting so many amenities and an updated, seemingly modern design yet left not 5 minutes into our viewing with our hopes crushed, yet again.
Between Timbers Terrace and the Willows Crossing apartments this exclusion eliminates a multitude of rental opportunities for us.

It is beyond baffling to me that families with children are allowed to rent here, yet animals that are securely contained are prohibited - as if a goldfish were to cause more damage than a two year old. Make it make sense, please.

Not to mention the building itself is right next to a transition home... If damage to property is indeed the concern, I'd say small pets are the least of the worry here.

To further add to my frustration, the rental prices shown to us in the viewing were drastically more expensive than what was quoted on the website. Albeit the site does say prices are not exact, I was not expecting prices to be a couple hundred dollars higher than what was originally quoted.

Our experience with Broadstreet properties was a disappointing waste of time.

If I could give a 0 star review, I definitely would. The only thing deserving of 1 star from our brief visit to Timbers Terrace was the professionality of the staff member who helped us.

Broadstreet, consider updating the information you provide to prospective renters so that full transparency is given to prevent negative reveiws from disappointed potential customers like myself.

My family and I have been really happy with our apartment at Timber Terrace. We moved from out of town and everything from the viewing to our move in date went very smooth. The units are quiet and we rarely hear our neighbours or people in the hallway. All the common spaces are kept incredibly clean, and with all the cats and dogs in the building the hallways rarely have an animal smell (though I would imagine in the winter that could change). The couple of times we’ve needed some minor help with maintenance the issues have been dealt with right away.
All the neighbours and their pets are so lovely - I've lived in a handful of apartment buildings and Timber Terrace by far has the friendliest people (and pets!).

A couple of downsides for us:
People smoke in the building/on patios, which I’ve never had with an apartment before - so it’s a pain when our windows or patio door is open and then we have to close everything up because of smoke wafting in.
There is transition house down the street, and though we haven’t had any issues since moving in, it’s a bit of a worry.

It is so nice to find a pet friendly building, with very friendly and helpful staff. Christine, Jim, Luke and Ameer are quick to take care of the tenants needs and are very hard workers.
The units are very nice and spacious. The only downfalls that I can say is that the paint in the units is such low quality that if you wash the walls the paint washes off; and people don’t follow the rules about not smoking pot on the decks. The smoke and smells come right in the units 🤮
The crack shack that was built next door has brought many very undesirable people around and the crime rate has gone up.

One of the best places I’ve been able to secure for myself and my family. I’m a luxury and strive for the best that I can get my hands on and timber terrace give that vibe. I was planning on moving to the east coast giving up everything I had to find something that was worth my family and timber terrace was the only place in Duncan I was happy to house my family in. Aarmon and the staff are super understanding and happy to help where ever they can, plus the building itself is of a building that is rare in Duncan…safe, properly built, clean, and allowing tenants that are considerate, makes for an amazing experience

My family has lived here since the day the building opened. We have nothing but the utmost pleasure to live in such a clean and beautiful building. Not only has the staff been super amazing, the tenants are as well. This building is quiet (some noises from above, but tolerable), safe and family oriented! I would highly recommend Timber Terrace when looking for a great place to live in Duncan.

This is the first time I have ever lived in an apartment and I am enjoying it.
The building is clean and quiet the grounds are well kept.Staff go over and above to address any problems that occur.

My one complaint is with dog owners that do not pickup after their animals even though Broadstreet supplies poop bags and deposit containers for it.

Our time living at the Timber Terrace was great. Leah, Jim, and their team are amazing. Our requests were handled quickly and professionally. The building is well maintained and always looking new. A great option if you have a pet.

I am privilege to have secured a unit here in your property.
It is no doubt that this is one of the outstanding properties in the soil of Duncan for every individual who quests for the best of living.
Being a new person in this area, one of my friends who have been in Duncan testified as outstanding property with some other packaging when he visited my apartment.
As a result of this, he called across to see if he could secure a unit for his family and was scheduled for view on the available unit.
Kudos to the manager for his gentle and helpful manner he displaces at all times.
Wishing you guys more wisdom to soar than eagle.
