This is a review and also a reply on the review given by the Joch's.
Curtis Tieu is the realtor we used for selling and searching for our next house. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. On marketing our house, he did his diligence and made sure it was visible by many. The photographer took great pictures and video for marketing. When booking viewings, he made sure that we had enough time to view the houses and have enough time to drive to the next houses on the list. Some of the houses we wanted to look at were on the opposite side of town. He booked them so we wouldn't be driving all over the place, which was great as we were coming in from out of town. When we did find a house that met all our requirements, he gave us good information on things we could negotiate on, and he worked great with the selling realtor. At all the viewings we went to, he made sure we had booties for our shoes/ socks to keep us and the house clean.

Now we get into the reply from the Joch's. We were told that the homeowners would be present for the viewing, which we didn't have any issues with. We did arrive early for the viewing as the previous viewing we didn't spend much time at. We did arrive with our 2 year daughter and didn't think it would have been an issue. Curtis also didn't know we were going to bring her with us. While we were waiting outside, they told us we could not bring her into the house. My wife and daughter had to wait in our car as Curtis and I went for the viewing. We had to enter the house through the back door, as the front door was not to be used. I found it a bit odd, and we were asked to put on slippers but leave our shoes outside, and it was slightly raining that day. So we asked if we could put on the booties over our shoes, which she said was OK. Upon entering the house, we could only walk on the designated walking path of bed sheets that the owners had put on the floor. I was only able to view some of the rooms by only sticking my head in and was not permitted to enter the rooms. We couldn't use the main staircase to get to a lower level and had to go outside and around to view the lower level. Again, only on the bed sheet path, and I was only allowed to stick my head into the rooms to view. It was the most awkward viewing I've ever been on, but both Curtis and I were respectful and polite to homeowners. I did ask questions about the house so it wouldn't be so awkward, but I guess it was the wrong thing to do. The homeowners suggested that one person go in at a time and the other wait outside with our daughter. My wife did not end up going in.

What can we say? Clay Newberry has been the best realtor we have ever had. He went above and beyond in helping us work through a series of unfortunate events with regards to purchasing a new home and selling ours. He was always available. He even met me at City Hall on three occasions to determine a strata issue. We would highly recommend him and his team as he will get the job done for you and explain every step.

My wife and I we are selling the house address: 47264 Vista place, Promontory, Chilliwack, BC. On Wensday April 24, 2024 at 11:01 AM Real estate agent Mr. Curtis Tieu - Pathway Executive Realty Inc., address: # 102 43869 Progress Way, Chilliwack, BC, make an appointment with our agent Mr. Eddy Chan , 1% realty, that he and his client are coming to view our house on Sunday April 28, 2024 at 11:15 AM we asked how many viewers are coming and he said 3 including him. The agent Mr. Tieu was very unpleasant !
First off all they came at 10:50 AM instead at 11:15 AM. It was light rain but not freezing rain because it was 10 degrees they waited 15 min. at the covered patio.
Secondly he kept silent that they will come with a 2 years old girl. ( We also had an unpleasant situation with our first buyer they also had a 2 years old girl's father put her on his shoulder and girl almost hit her head on the door frame ), or little inattention on the part of the parents the kid could fall down of the stairs, which are very steep. We apologized to them that the kid couldn't go to the house because something like this happen.
Thirdly this agent Mr, Tieu was rude and arrogant because he wanted to go into the house in his shoes. We apologized again and ask him to wear our clean sleepers. This was a very unpleasant situation for us as an old couple.
We want to sell the house not destroyed it. This agent is very unprofessional, because his client ( buyer ) was very disappointed that the secondary unit has a kitchen rough-in ( no kitchen ) and no laundry room. If they want to rent the unit ! All of this is on the " Listing description " and " Realtor Board ", he should let them know before they come into the house ! When he was driving away he ironically waved at us with a smile. We didn't know what that meant but after a 30 min. finally we found out Mr. Curtis Tieu Realtor at Pathway Executive Realty Inc., Chilliwack, BC, instead of sending COMMAND to our agent Mr. Chan 1% Realtor ( he said will do ) he File a complaint about us to " Touch Base Real Estate board" what he said was a lie. Seller and buyer don't trust this Real Estate agent and the company. If we can give him 0 review we will be very happy!
In the future if we want to hire Real Estate Agent never from this company because they hire unprofessional Real Estate Agent.
