The building manager Duraid is always amazing any issues I have he’s happy to help and quickly comes up with the solution. Building is quiet and peaceful I never hear my neighbours. Very happy with my apartment and my overall experience with Devon Properties 😊

Thanks to DJ, the best transition was made possible for us to move into the apartment. He demonstrated immense patience while registering us with BC Hydro. As newcomers to Canada, we are unfamiliar with many procedures, and he assisted us willingly with invaluable support. Without a doubt, it is important to acknowledge the work he has done and the help provided in establishing ourselves in the unit.

I have been here nearly 6 months now and was shocked to see some negative reviews. Everyone in the building seems friendly, it is always clean and the managers have been fantastic to deal with whether small or serious. Would gladly recommend!

While this recently built apartment complex provides comfort and a beautiful view, as well as overall space, you will find plenty of issues immediately upon moving in. The construction team responsible for this building seems to have little to no concept of what clean means, as well as providing horrible support systems, dirtied equipment, and incredibly uneven spacing between utilities and the space around them. My partner and I were cleaning up left over drywall for weeks after moving in, and we still find some damages or messes somewhere in our new home. Its also incredibly worrying and disappointing to find a lack of security for this building. No cameras, one guard who is rarely on patrol, and a screening process for tenants that lets in even the most vile and disgusting people in. I cannot count the amount of times RCMP has come to our building responding to a distress call. My partner and I are looking into moving out shortly, and I recommend anyone looking to rent to find somewhere that cares about individuals safety

Since new management took over, it has been horrendous. They have "office hours" but the blinds and door is always closed, no one is ever there. I have not seen someone there once. Police have broken in door to apartments, the office refuses to accept packages on behalf of the tenants like the previous management. They used to be so open and friendly but now we are left to fend for our own. Packages have been stolen from other tenants doors, we had someone spit on the elevator buttons and they refuse to put camera in the elevators even with COVID going on. There is no security to the building, there are no cameras to monitor who is coming and going. The police up-island even know about our building from word of mouth, it is that much of a problem. For the amount of money they're charging, it is unacceptable.

Building management is lacking. Over and over peoples packages have been getting stolen, they refuse to accept any responsibility and refuse to assist the police when they are asked for video footage. When the building forst opened they just let whoever they wanted in with zero checks into people which has resulted in alot of sketchy people who they now allowing to run rampant. There are regular domestics on my floor, there has been blood in the hallways on the door handles and stairwell railings that are left for tenants to clean. The garbage room regularly ends up overflowing with garbage because it isn't taken away often enough.
Drug users running all throughout the building since they allowed a dealer to move in.
DONT MOVE HERE, THE RENT VS REWARD IS NOT WORTH IT.

I’ve lived in this building for a year now and is quite possibly the worst managed building I’ve ever lived in. Rent is way too high for what you get and the building manager is horrible. Super lazy and difficult. I would never recommend living in this building to anyone. Stay away. Devon Properties give your head a shake.
