I probably shouldn’t be writing this because I actually live here, but when I saw the website and their one 5 star review I have to say something. Just because it’s a new building and it looks nice from the outside does NOT mean it’s a nice building or a nice place to live. I have been here since the building opened. I can’t remember if it was the first winter or the second every tenant in here went without hot water for over 4 months. We were boiling pot after pot of water just to give our kids a bath, or to wash dishes! And what did we get for our trouble when they finally fixed the problem? If I remember correctly it was around $600 maybe add fifty bucks or so. I live in a 3 bedroom unit and my hydro was already high because it was winter and my rent is a lot more than the $650, so that didn’t even cover the two months of hydro. They acted like they were giving us the grand prize in the lottery or something and us the tenants are going “huh?” What am I supposed to do with this? Those cheap *^%* should have given us at least two months rent back. I guess they have never had to live for four months without hot water and kids! Then there’s the elevator that breaks down constantly. So those wheelchair accessible suites that are on the second, third and fourth floors don’t sound too good anymore. Those people are literally stuck in their apartments for days, most of the time weeks because apparently we live in the 1800’s and can’t get to Vancouver in a day to get the parts or the special elevator repair guy. We don’t have one of those guys who actually reside here in PR. If you’re going to build a building and have people that require wheelchairs reside in it either have the elevator built properly or have all the wheelchair accessible suites on the first floor or hire someone who can live in said town to be on call to fix the elevator when it breaks all the time! The cupboards fall off, the landlord hasn’t answered any of my texts in over a year. The building manager waited a week to get back to me when I had trouble with my lock on my front door! I’m a single mom living with just my two young daughters and one has special needs. You would think a broken front door lock might be a priority. Good thing I know how to fix things and I fixed it right after I texted him, but really? A week? The tenants are ok, I just don’t tell anyone anything or else the entire building knows your business in less than an hour. Basically it’s like living in high school or like my mom says Melrose Place. So if you can put up with a building that is most likely going to fall down or sink into it’s very own sinkhole and everything inside breaks and when you want to complain or get something fixed you’re either totally ignored or it takes over a week just to get your front door lock fixed, I can’t imagine if it’s only a clogged sink! Oh wait, they would tell you to call your own plumber and make you pay for it…and lastly if you can’t get enough drama in your life, this is the place for you! I imagine there will be a three bedroom suite opening up shortly. I swear, if they try and kick me out for telling you the absolute truth Inclusion will have sunk to an even lower low than they currently are. I appreciate the roof over my head but I pay for that roof every month on time never once late, never once missed a payment. I keep to myself and never cause problems. I just can’t see this fake add and not use my voice to help others save money for having to move twice. We all know people don’t stay here long…If I could afford to go somewhere else or if there was a place that didn’t have stairs and three bedrooms I would be out of here faster than I could pack! Unfortunately because of my daughter who is severely disabled that is just not in the cards for me. It’s impossible to find a place that has no stairs and three bedroom’s that I can afford. For now I’m just happy warning you all about this place!!
