This is a fantastic apartment building to live in. Extremely quiet area surrounded by woods, walking trails within 5 minutes of the complex, personal garden boxes available and gym facilities on site. The management team here is great, friendly and they go out of their way to make your living experience as pleasant as possible.

Oh and there is an outdoor dining area with lighting, picnic tables and two gas BBQs for resident use. Not to mention a decent sized dog run.

Overall this is one of, if not the best buildings I have lived in. The only thing I wish they had was a power rack in the gym, that would be a massive enhancement to the facility.

After many years of owning my homes, I find myself feeling entirely at home after one month renting at this beautiful building. I really appreciate its upscale design, beautiful layouts, great neighbours, and lovely natural setting. The friendly, helpful resident and assistant resident managers provide a real sense of stability here in their first floor office, where there's always an open door to residents. With small, medium and large dog treats on their desks, even my pup feels entirely at home! (Maybe a little too at home, hahaha.) I highly recommend this building and hope to live here for a long time.

Place is nice/decent, definitely could use more frequent cleanings inside the hallways, lobbies and outside. i dont think people like spiderwebs hanging over their heads before walking into the building. I do find the building manager to be quite interesting. honestly rude and speaks to you in a condescending way. the assistant manager though (Tammy) is honestly great. Super nice, welcoming and i always see her outside working hard.

My partner and I are very happy with our time so far at Tidalwood. We are surrounded by the forest, and can even hear the Holland Creek out our window. The grounds are well maintained, and it feels like a little community with all of the wonderful people and their pets. Management is also very personable, and always willing to help when needed.

I have wanted to move in when the building first opened and now we are here. It is in a beautiful quiet location, tucked in the woods. Amazing building managers, the grounds are well looked after, on site gym, drop off mail boxes, and lots of storage. Everyone in the building is super friendly and if you like dogs this building has one of every kind.

Tidalwood is my first rental and I’ve had nothing but an amazing experience here. I was very nervous moving to Vancouver Island, but instantly felt at ease when I met with the building managers Nikki and Tammy. They both go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed to the community and have made me feel at home in such a short time. Without them I don’t believe the experience would be the same. Of course the building itself is spectacular. Being surrounded by forest, you forget you’re a 2 minute drive from the Trans Canada Highway and coming home always feels like a little getaway from reality. I’m lucky to call this place my home and wouldn’t change it for anything.

It’s a well designed building with good amenities. On site gym is nice and I quite like the mailbox drop of system for delivery companies. The building managers are truly excellent.

However, my biggest complaint is that parking is not included in the rent, so you have to pay for the first spot and more for the second. Were this a bigger city with better access to public transit this would be less of an issue. But you have to drive to get close to anything done (especially work) so having to pay for the first parking spot is a bit of a stinger.

This is my very first rental and I can say that my experience has been nothing but great. My boyfriend and I moved in May of 2021 and have never once had any issues. The building managers Niki and Tammy are always so on top of everything from safety to letting you back in when you forget your key fob!

Location is perfect and the view from your balcony speaks for itself. Couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home.
