Living here for 2 months and I have to say, the building is fantastic! With three lounge areas and a gym, there's always something to do. One thing that really stands out to me is the great service I have received from Sophia - she's always on the go, but she still takes the time to say hello and respond quickly to any questions or concerns I have. It is a new building , some issues arise but dealt quickly. It's really appreciated!

Lease manager Justine was great. Really pleasant to deal with. Sofia property manager met me late at night with keys made moving in easy. I applied and got accepted that day, moved in the following evening!

I am slightly handicapped and lost my mailbox key. One of my neighbours returned it and the property manager made sure to get back to me ASAP! Overall really happy to be part of the Capstone living experience!

Scheduled to move in April 1st and had a wonderful experience with the leasing manager Justine! Incredibly communicative and speedy with processing my lease after I made the spontaneous decision to move to Langley to be closer to family. Large units, pet friendly with good parking & storage immediately compelled me compared to other units/buildings I was looking at as young professional. Excited to explore the city core and settle in for Spring 🙂

Honest review coming up.
Are these worth $1800 and up? $70 to park your car and wifi and hydro extra plus paying for water usage, makes for a very expensive place to live. No amenities. Yes, there is a gym, but not really a gym.. no free weights, and very, very small.
The bathtub is not user-friendly, can't really lay down because of the angle and has absolutely no edge against the wall, so getting out of the tub can be a challenge. As for air conditioning, there is none very hot inside. You will have fans running constantly.
The noise level is high, thought my upstairs neighbors were going to come through my ceiling.
For the square footage, it's very overpriced, and the fixtures are not the best.
I don't want to be so negative, but for this kind of money, it's a glorified hotel suite. They call this affordable living, which it is not.
Communication in the building is non-existent, they were testing the fire alarms the other day, with no notification, so a few of us rushed down to find out it was just a test.
I know the rental market is tough, but nobody should have to pay such a high percentage of their income to just "live."
Especially with no incentives to move in.
Two months free isn't an incentive..do the math.

I have had a mixed experience at the Capstone. The leasing office assigned me a unit which wasn’t what I viewed. It was by the elevator and had no microwave. Layout was very similar. Then tried to say it was the same apartment I viewed. I have 2 large dogs so I was very specific about what I was looking for, away from elevator, private, large patio. The microwave was advertised for every unit.
The property manager has been fantastic, accommodating and supportive. Sophia tried to remedy the microwave, and offer alternatives. She has had me assigned to another unit. It’s not what I wanted, but unfortunately the one I viewed was given to another tenant. I appreciate her trying to fix the terrible situation. She has been very kind and has made herself available for me. The 5 stars is for Sophia.

The resident manager and maintenance manager are both very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. With the building finishing construction, new tenants, and on-going site management both Sophia and Vincent do their best to stay on top of so many competing priorities. I’ve been very happy with their responsiveness, communication, and professionalism.

The leasing team, 10/10. No notes. Justine was wonderful to work with and made me very excited to start the next chapter. The property manger has been a completely different story. Constantly ghosted when needing information or hit with a passive aggressive text message. I was even told I couldn’t lock my doors on my move in day because they still needed to clean. It’s not the worst situation in the world but definitely has been frustrating and disappointing since the leasing team was so wonderful to work with.

Just wanted to mention, the lady resident manager experience was NOT GOOD (this review is for her). We had a set appointment and ended up waiting for more than three hours! She seemed really disorganized, which was a bummer. The leasing team, though, they were awesome, and this other guy (maybe from maintenance?) was great and super helpful. Just felt like the lady manager could use some pointers on customer service.
