This Developer claims Luxury High End living in their advertising. I just bout a new unit at 20335 70A Addition in Langley. This place has the worst fit and finish along with lost a mile long with deficiencies. Everything is pushed off to strata or the Portal to claim on the insurance. Whoever designed these buildings must have been first year architect.
The deficiencies were promised to be repaired before moving in. The place was supposed to be professionally cleaned and it wasn’t. Dent in refrigerator door was covered up by an energy sticker. Paint flaws and terrible touch ups on every wall. Walls seem to only have primer quality paint, maybe it is just primer. Shower tiles not sealed. Carpet incorrectly installed. Chips in all the interior doors and trim. Fridge won’t slide completely in because of an exposed vent and gas pipe out 8” from the wall. Air conditioner did not work. EV electrical plug fell inside the wall and was dangling from the wires. There is a list a mile long. Kitchen cupboards had holes chiseled in them then covered with popsicle sticks glued on. This is what you get for a million bucks. Kitchen sink held in place with 2 x 4 lumber. Range top hole cut too far back making rear burners un usable.
Update. After speaking with the rep from the company, I am promised that the repairs will be carried out within a timely manor. The contractor for the handrail came by last night and did an even worse job than the initial installation, Drilled holes in the concrete and put siding screws in the holes. Too lazy or cheap to drill straight holes and insert concrete anchors. See attached pictures
