Just to clarify, my experience is with one individual agent, not the brokerage as a whole. I want to make it clear that this is not a reflection of the entire firm. The agent I worked with personally claimed to be the number one agent at the brokerage, and also mentioned having experience in car and medical sales. I can’t verify those claims, but it seemed more like an attempt to impress rather than provide the level of professional service I was expecting. I hope this feedback helps others, but I’m sure there are many great agents at this brokerage

My Experience with a Real Estate Agent

Buying a home is a big deal — and unfortunately, my experience came with some serious red flags. Sharing this to help other homebuyers stay informed.

❗️ What Happened:

📄 I was asked to sign a Buyer Representation Agreement without sufficient explanation.

💬 A WhatsApp group was used throughout the process — it included the agent’s spouse, who we believed was a realtor.
🔍 Later, we learned they are not licensed, yet personal and property buying information was shared in the group.

📑 There were inconsistencies in the commission disclosure form (Form 320). At one point during the deal, an attempt was made to secure a higher commission from the seller’s realtor, which was not communicated to us. We only learned of this after the transaction was complete, when we discovered, quite by chance, that the seller’s realtor is a neighbor.

💰 A verbal promise of a commission rebate was not honored after closing.

📂 I’ve submitted a formal complaint to RECO, and a formal investigation is ongoing.

💡 What I Learned:
✅ Get everything in writing
✅ Don’t sign anything without reviewing it
✅ Ask questions — don’t assume full transparency

Unprofessional and Completely Unacceptable Experience

I would strongly advise against renting a property through this realtor. This is the 21st century, yet the level of unprofessionalism we experienced was beyond belief. Renting a home is not the same as getting a mortgage—it shouldn’t be this complicated.

After completing all the paperwork and fulfilling every requirement, what we got in return was nothing but harassment. We were left waiting outside for seven hours just to receive the keys to the property. There was no proper communication, no accountability, and no respect for our time.

This experience was a clear example of how NOT to treat tenants. If this is how they operate, I can’t even imagine how they handle bigger responsibilities. Save yourself the stress and do not rent through this realtor.
