Dealing with Aventus has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had as a tenant. We’ve been trying to get our surplus deposit refunded since SEPTEMBER, and as of March, we still haven’t received it. That’s over 6 months of ignored emails, missed phone calls, and empty promises.

We’ve followed up repeatedly, even went in person, and every time we’re told it’s “being processed.” At this point, it feels like they’re hoping we just give up. Honestly, it’s unacceptable and borderline shady.

If you're thinking of renting from a property managed by Aventus — think twice. The lack of communication and accountability is beyond frustrating.
