I can hear the kids who are always playing in the hallways the walls are not soundproof. During the freeze that happened last week my heating didn't work I knew this a month ago and told him to fix it no one showed up when I called him after freez to see what was going on they told me all the other apartments were working so they didn't bother. I got frostbite on my ear. They also wanted a rent increase delusional

I am a resident of Domaine Belle-Rive in Laval managed by Capreit. And this review is based on my stay in the building for 1 year.
If I could give lower than a star i would have. But since 1 is the minimum, the star goes for the nice area the building is located in which is near the river, close to everything and very convenient as it has everything in the building. But the management, Capreit, are the WORST. By saying worst i truly mean it. I have never delt with such management before. Make sure, if you decide to stay here which I surely dont recommend, to have everything agreed on, written and signed by the management before signing the lease.
Prior signing, it is all butterflies and rainbows, whatever you ask for " yes for sure we will do it for you, we are here for you to help you and build a beautiful community" they just want your signature to have you hooked. After signing, you will be treated as if you came from the streets. Management are rude with some exceptions, but even the nicer ones are just good people but do not have any power to fulfill your needs and requests.
Just stay away from this property and to be more specific, stay away from all Capreit facilties across Canada.
What a waste to have such a beautiful property managed by such company. I just wish this property was managed by another professional company

you are the worst ever. its been 5 days now no calls to apologies no reschedule nothing at all. you didn't fix the sink and its one of the emergency as written in ur contract form. you don't respect people time. I didn't go out of the apartment for 2 days waiting for you, as an appointment you put it ur self. here we go day 5 nothing change and nothing will change.
