We reached out to Paula when we finally decided to get serious about purchasing a property in the Nelson area earlier this year. Paula helped us with navigating the challenges of looking for a rural and property, and shared so much knowledge about water licenses, neighbour dynamics, digging wells, and recommending a fantastic mortgage broker. When the first property did not work out, Paula pulled strings to get us in to see an super unique property the first day it was on the market and helped us finalize an offer from the side of a ski hill. When the second property also didn’t work out, we were pretty bummed, but kept looking and Paula patiently kept her eyes out for us. She ended up getting us an advance virtual tour of an awesome property in town that we initially weren’t over the moon about. After two offers falling though, we were a bit more cautious, but Paula was there to walk us through all the considerations and gently show us that it was actually the perfect stepping stone to the rural property of our dreams. Paula even made sure to be in close contact with the selling agent, helping us get a better deal than we thought we could get on the home! We had such a great experience working with Paula and would absolutely recommend working with her if you are looking to purchase a property in the Kootenays!!
