Where to begin.. We rented at 430 11th st. that was managed by Princeton Place Apartments and Paula was working there at the time. She promised us that the apartment was newly renovated with brand new kitchen appliances. We were moving from Ontario so we trusted Paula's word and signed a lease without having seen the apartment. Once we arrived, the kitchen did NOT have new appliances and the place was filthy. Paula said that she would get a cleaner to come and clean the place but after weeks of waiting, she eventually told us that no one will be coming to clean the place. We were also told by the manager that they will not give us the promised new kitchen appliances, until we told them we had something in writing from Paula, and then they agreed. This building is advertised as pet friendly. There are many dogs in the building of all sizes. We told Paula that we will be getting a dog, and she encouraged us to get one. Shortly after we got our puppy, I received a phone call from Paula that our dog is too large for the building and if she causes any disruption we will be kicked out. Interestingly, I have seen many large dogs in the building, and nothing in our lease said large dogs weren't allowed. Over the months, our place increasingly became infested with silverfish. They were eating our clothes, and were all over the bathroom. It was disgusting. We contacted the office numerous times to get pest control, and our requests were ignored. The staff here do not respond to emails, and they are extremely rude and don't care about their tenants. We decided to move out for obvious reasons and broke our lease early. They informed us that we would have to forfeit our deposit which we agreed to. On the day of our inspection, no one showed up. We waited over an hour until we finally got a hold of someone at the office and they came to do the inspection. We thought we cut off all ties with this terrible company, until 6 months later when we were contacted by a collections agency informing us that the deposit we forfeited was not paid. Not once did capriet ever contact us about this. Instead they decided to screw us over one more time. This is the absolute worst place to rent, with the worst staff I have ever met. Save yourself the hassle and rent anywhere else.

Older smaller building with many longterm tenants. Apartments are large and spacious and underground parking available. Pets allowed! 🐾🐾
