I've been living at Sherbrooke Manor for the last 18 years and it's a great place to live. Skytrain station and Hwy #1 are very close. The grocery store, TD bank, Shoppers Drug Mart are 5 minutes away (a walking distance).
Aida as a building manager is awesome, always very helpful and friendly. She is definitely one of the best building managers we had.

Terrible place. I lived here for 1.5 years until August 2024 so I don’t know if anything changed. There were junkies living in the building who would get out of their apartment in the middle of the night and start yelling in the hallway. The management didn’t want to do anything. I complained about hot/cold water several times and they didn’t do anything about it. I suspect they entered my unit without notice several times. I’d come home and several lights would be on but I’d never forget to turn off that many lights. It’s like they came in went to every room and forgot to turn off lights. Then I set up a camera but moved out before I could catch them.

The building has a great location: easy walking distance to the Skytrain and Royal Columbian Hospital, with a playground and sports field across the street, and shops on Columbia Street.

While prices are high like everywhere else in the Lower Mainland, I want to compliment the local building management. Service was really bad until a few years ago - you'd call the office, tell them your problem, get no response to your problem, and when you called again you got someone totally different who'd never heard of you, much less your issue. But as of a few years ago, the service has massively improved with management that is competent and responsive.

It has taken some time to write a review, so here it goes. I had lived in Sherbrooke Manor for 6 years with my parter and our daughter. The beginning was a little rough but when they turned over management to Oliver, Reza and everyone else at the Howay location everything started to get better. They do care for all the tenants and we definitely felt that having them as our management team. I understand that there were many issues with the building when they took over but we always felt (and witnessed) the hard work of the team trying to better the building (and relationships) for all that lived there. I will miss the team very much. We did our part as good tenants and they did theirs as landlords. It's because of our faith in them (and another that was moved to another location) that we chose to stay with Capreit. Thank you for a great experience. 🤪

I've been extremely happy with living here and hope to be here for along time. I've had good experiences with the way they've been, when I ask for service with fixes needed they get it done..and find the landlord very professional and kind, close to the skytrain, awesome restaurants and a grocery store...oh and the Royal Columbian hospital is close by...I love my neighborhood

I stayed here for 3 years, and during that time, my oven was broken, but they refused to fix it. The worst part was that the unit was infested with centipedes

Our washroom ceiling vent has been broken for over a month and no one seems to be able to fix it after multiple requests we made. Not impressed!
