I hired Kenyon Wilson to survey my property for a residential subdivision in Cobble Hill. I was surprised at the level of detail the crew went into with their survey. They had 2-3 people here for almost two days taking measurements. I assumed the survey would include the property lines and main buildings only, but they also mapped out fence lines, the septic location, potential driveway/access points, utility locations/lines, and identified about 20-30 trees on the plan (including the type of tree). The tree locations turned out to be surprising helpful, as I wanted to design the subdivision around them vs. removing. Moreover, once you get deeper into the layers of municipal red tape and enter into development permits, environmental studies, etc. having this level of detail will save you a lot of headache. I thought the price they quoted was fair at the time. Afterward, I felt it was excellent value considering how much work went into it – onsite and drafting. I plan to continue using them for the final subdivision plans and highly recommend them.
