I got involved with NREIC this year to ask for assistance with a big regulation obstacle facing short-term rental owners in Winnipeg. Which they came through on for me without hesitation even though I was completely unknown to them at that point.

Originally I thought the only thing this big powerful network could offer me was “strength in numbers” to tackle my specific issue. However, after attending a few of their events I now understand how invaluable the relationships I have cultivated are to me as a real estate investor.

The NREIC has been welcoming, supportive and knowledgeable on any issue I have had come up so far in both my long-term and my short-term rentals. I have been a member of the NREIC for about 6 months now. What I have come to learn is that the NREIC strives to provide education and support to investors. Dakotah (the head of the organization) is constantly seeking ways to bring value to the community and to continually improve the experience of its members.
