Waterfront Centre - Gimli, Manitoba

We had our wedding reception at Johnson Hall in the Waterfront Centre. It was truly beautiful, and the rental cost was one of the best we found anywhere.

Perfect size for our guest list of approx. 90 people. Wonderful atmosphere, large windows which provided a lovely view all around. A big bonus was access to the balcony, which had a wonderful view, and allowed guests who smoked to not have to go up and down the elevator.

The management was very communicative, quick to answer any questions, and agreeable to any special accomodations. The provided bartenders were extremely kind and professional, even with our guests keeping them very busy all night!

The catering company that teamed up with the venue, Mad Dash, also did an amazing job. The food was great, service friendly, and they went above and beyond to help make the night go smoothly.

We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone hosting any kind of special event!

This Harbourfront area has become the tourist centre for the town. Offers very nice hotel with restaurants and bars of a quality usually seen in big cities. I show images of the The Viking Camp in Gimli, Manitoba.Icelandic Festival.July.2017.
