When I first met Jay he was very easy going and easy to get along with. He was knowledgeable, patient and understanding. He listened to what I was looking for and what peaked my interest when it came to my future home.
So when it came time to look at properties, Jay made sure I was able to see all the properties I liked and had chosen, along with other properties that he had thought I would like. As we were viewing properties, Jay had pointed out things that I would have never thought of, like noise from the highways or roads when all the windows were closed. He mentioned that it would be hard to relax after a days work with all that noise. This showed that he understood me and what kind of things were important to me, since I work nights and need to sleep during the daytime.
When we found the townhouse that I liked, I had a budget in mind and Jay was able to find and negotiate the price to within it. This made me really happy. I got my dream home within my budget. Needless to say, the entire transaction went very smoothly. He even helped me negotiate buying furniture from the previous owners of the property. This was not a part of his job, but he helped me anyway. He really went above and beyond.

Working with Jay has been by far the best and easiest decision that we have ever made. From making us feel comfortable and informed, to ensuring that we had all the relevant information that we would need to buy our home, Jay always went above and beyond what we were expecting.

He would give us an objective outlook on each and every house we saw and would point out things that we would miss and not look for. We would get a very detailed breakdown and analysis on a fair market value for properties that we wanted to put in an offer for. We have worked with Jay on finding our next rental home in Toronto. This was particularly new and difficult for us as we were moving from the USA to CANADA and had to decide on our home without personally looking into it, everything had to be done online and involved trusting our agent more so.
