Extremely Disappointed with Jodi Zwicker’s Conduct

I had a deeply frustrating experience with Jodi Zwicker during the attempted sale of my home. She brought a prospective buyer but made the process unnecessarily difficult—constantly postponing appointments and being unreliable. She demanded personal property be included in the deal and repeatedly asked intrusive questions about the mobile home park, which were irrelevant to the transaction.

She inserted a home inspection clause, which is standard, but after the inspection (where the inspector himself said there were no major issues), she told my agent “it didn’t go well” and had her buyer back out—without sharing the report or offering any explanation, after initially offering my partner to take part in the inspection, which he declined. - Because I was confident the home would pass, I had already committed to another property, which I now have to walk away from.

In my opinion, Jodi was not only difficult to deal with but acted in a way that felt unethical and manipulative. I would never work with her or her team again, nor would I accept another buyer represented by her. Ruthless representation is one thing—being unprofessional and misleading is another.

Darren, I understand industry norms around inspections and liability—but this wasn’t about protocol. It was about conduct and transparency. If my partner was invited to attend the inspection, why later claim that sharing the findings was against protocol? That contradiction suggests a degree of manipulation. This review is about the agent—not the transaction’s outcome. She demanded information that wasn’t mine to share, insisted on including personal property in the sale, threatened the deal over reasonable conditions (like securing my own accommodation), and dealt with my Realtor in a way I personally found manipulative and obnoxious. There’s a difference between negotiating and bullying. Your agent could benefit from learning it.

She gave us good advice on the strategy to win the bid and follow that through all the way to getting the previous owner to issue us all of the keys and the fob. She even went back to help previous owner to get things out of their storage and got the storage room keys back. Overall her service was great and helpful all the way to the end.
