One of the places in town that may get you the certificate for visiting the Arctic circle.
Local calls it the Lego building because it looks like built by Lego blocks from the outside.
A small exhibit area by the counter showing all the local artists’ creations reveal the joy and strength of this town.
They’ve got free pins as souvenirs. The staff will explain the meaning of the all the shades and colours on the pin for you.
Was a cozy visit.

What a lovely place to stop in at! I received a certificate for driving across the Arctic Circle, free of charge, which was pretty darn cool. I really enjoyed learning what the symbols mean on the pins they hand out, too!

I also bought a shirt here as a souvenir, it was really affordable and good quality.

Really appreciate the knowledge of the woman who helped me at the front desk. I asked her about wildlife in the area and she gave me a list of what I could realistically see, and I saw almost every single thing she mentioned, even a Caribou! This was an extra special treat as there are no Caribou where I am from.

Thank you for making my trip to Inuvik so special!

They just sell souvenirs here and apparently can't answer any questions about anything that is happening in town. The information we did get is wrong. We came to ask about the market that happens outside and they told us it wasn't happening... we found out later (after it was over) that there had been a farmers market literally outside the tourism building that afternoon. Thanks for nothing I guess.

So pleased to be in Inuvik on a Saturday in August and shop at the Arctic Market. Got lots of handmade jewelry, clothes and food.
