Our building is 35 years old but it is in excellent condition and very clean. In the short time we have lived here, we have had visits from people regarding the cleaning of our air ducts, which was professionally done by a pair of very well-mannered young men, the replacement of our HVAC fan and the replacement of a small window which had lost its seal, all of which were covered by Pro Guard. In our building are two employees one who does the cleaning and the other who takes care of any problems our owners have. Again they are very pleasant to speak with and do an excellent job.

Recently sold condo and inspection showed non-indemnified changes which were made before I purchased -I found Brian Schryver Owner and Manager arrogant unhelpful and uncaring in this situation. I believe condos should be self managed as they have become too expensive to carry the corp's offices and staff. Pro guard does not keep the property up the landscaping is horrible and with any board it is a struggle to get things done and I will never buy a condo again.

I'll put it in simple words, moving in a condo that these guys are managing is worst choice I ever made... it took 4 months to get a simple approval to install heating unit and they were keep asking me same information I already sent... you need a lot of improvement

Worst experience of my life. Took over a month to fix 2 water leaks and replace a small amount of flooring. The owner Brian is a con artist. I was also slandered by Brian and some of his reliabuild workers. I would strongly recommend not using this company for anything!!

UPDATE
It is now June 24th and my patio still hasn’t had the leaves blown away, I’ll add pictures as it seems like this is the only thing BRIAN looks at!

There has certainly been an improvement in communication and looking for opportunities to save money for the homeowners to minimize increases in monthly condo fees since Pro-Guard has taken over the condo

Be VERY wary of this company. They are not hands on property management, they bully clients/the elderly, they are loose with laws and bylaws. The company is trouble, steer clear!

Upon reading other reviews, apparently Bryan actually works for them, but is rating them 5 stars... be VERY careful of these guys.

Edit: called about misappropriation of funds and repairs, was spoken to like a child.as long as they keep this up, I will keep updating.

Edit: they were by today making demands. No company can force a full paying home owner into compliance, and if they wanted an amicable partnership, the problems in the pictures I just added would have been dealt with years ago.
I again caution you away from proguard.

So glad to have Proguard Property Management for my condo unit in Thornbury! I have had many experiences with property management companies over the years of condo living and I must say that Brian Schryver (owner) is very knowledgeable on condo by-laws, rules/regulations, has good common sense and is able to overall enforce fair and reasonable condo standards upholding the values of our community. Proguard also has a good, reliable vendor’s list and is always working to further enhance their administrative efficiencies! It is truly a pleasure to work with Brian and his staff!
