My experience with this company happened on July 31st, 2025 at 1pm. My wife and I had started renting our home from July 15th, 2025 from the property owners directly.
Imagine our surprise when we’re catching our breathes after bringing in our groceries from shopping, when a random man by the name of PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA walked into our home completely unannounced, unwelcome and without notice ( no knocking on the door or ringing our doorbell.) We had to REPEATEDLY ask this random stranger to close our front door, as we have pets. Finally after asking 3x, he moves from standing in our open doorway to closing the door and standing out on our front porch. My wife and I step out onto the porch and see PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA is standing on our porch with a very nice looking couple standing on the road beside the car they arrived in. My wife and I have no clue who any of these people are. INSTEAD OF APOLOGIZING FOR WALKING INTO OUR HOME, PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA immediately starts shifting blame on our landlord / property owner for not informing him directly that the listing had been taken down, instead of he himself double checking the listing for HIS clients! PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA keeps repeating to my wife and I how he is “a professional realtor who has been doing this for over 20 years, he’s a good man, he has a business card and everything, etc.” PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA told us himself that he is a realtor, so I asked for his card as I was wanting confirmation on who this stranger who just walked into our home is. PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA REFUSED to give us his business card and said “why would you want that? You don’t need it.” I turn to his clients and tell them theres clearly been a mistake and we’re actually sorry they wasted their time coming to see a sold property. PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA then shows us the “property confirmation” email he received, which shows he needed to KNOCK FIRST before entering the property, which he did not! The email was also an AUTOMATIC RESPONSE EMAIL which was confirmed by the listing agency but not our property owners!
When I point out in the email it states to knock first before entering, he lied to my wife and I’s faces and tries to convinces us “that he did knock, we just didn’t hear it”, knowing damn well I myself was less than 5ft from the door, and would have have heard a knock.
At this point PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA is still standing on our porch, refusing to give us his business card for over 10 minutes in front of his clients, so I turned to them and asked them directly “am I being unreasonable in wanting his business card?” The man of the couple lifted up his head from LAUGHING into his hand from the ridiculousness of this exchange happening, and responded “No you’re not.” Finally, after asking for his business card a MINIMUM of 20x, he gives us his card. I then tell him thank you for the card, hopefully this clears things up as we will be following up with both parties. PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA is doubling down in his defence but never once APOLOGIZED for his actions, so I tell him he can leave now to prevent further escalation as we seem to be going in circles. Once I inform him he is no longer welcome and may leave, he accuses my wife and I of being RACIST TO HIM!
While he is accusing us of being racist, his client couple are standing by the road and have now turned their bodies with their backs now to us. Clearly embarrassed at what’s happening, and are embarrassed PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA is actively still “defending” himself on our porch over his own mistake. Finally PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA leaves, but not before once more accusing my wife and I of being racist to him because he is a brown man. I called the company PINAKIN CHANDRAKANT MEHTA directly works for the next day and never received a call back. Clearly this company does not care about the accountability of its employees. If that type of behaviour is acceptable in front of clients, it confirms I will never give them the business of those I know.
