Just horrible. Fern Bata is a one man wrecking crew. It's taking 12 years to get repairs done that were promised before moving in. The kitchen tiles were all scotch taped. Burn holes cover most of the kitchen counter. The house had not been painted as well. Living room ceiling was improperly painted before moving in as well And had a huge water spot there as well. We had to remove the kitchen stove due to fire concerns. Previous tenants apparently cooked with alot of oil. And in the latest disaster will not fix the washer claiming i own it and just want him to fix it. Not my fault he can't remember doing the walk through and doesn't remember it there before we moved in. Get everything in writing your going to need it later.

My mom been renting for 3 years now, when she first moved in the cupboard door falling off. A hole in the wall in the kitchen, the door and dirty and crayons all over from previous renters .the wall plugs are loose . The plugs keep falling out. The screen are done, need new ones. There was a big leak in the basement and when we called they send someone but they don’t fix anything. 3 years later still waiting for them to fix these issues. Once I called Centa and got in an argument with Fern at the office and he said well those problems weren’t there when I moved it .
WHAT. Shitty real estate company. All they care about is renting the houses and shitty landlords.

Although we were weary to rent from Centa due to negative reviews, the rent price and property features were just too great to pass up. Shortly after moving in, we had an issue with the sewer backing up and ruining a lot of property in our basement. Not only did Centa quickly send someone to check it out and clean it up for us, but they even paid for the deposit on our insurance. This, to us, was extremely generous of them.

Whenever there has been an issue with our appliances or house, they've quickly responded. It's been nearly two years now since we've moved in, and we are pleased with the service.

If i could give a lower score I would. They told me everything would be cleaned and freshly painted prior to moving into my 1400$ a month unit. When we got here we found it filthy, painted only with primer and covered with huge spots of mold. They expect us to store their 4 old dirty broken appliances even when I have my own. Completely useless property manager. Half the windows are broken and missing screens. Worst move/renting experience I have ever had. Don't do this to yourself rent elsewhere.they are a scam company. Had to use another companies rental form and misrepresent themselves just to scam us.

I don't understand all the terrible reviews. I have been renting from centa for just over a year now and they have been absolutely wonderful to deal with.

When I first viewed the rental property there was still some renovations to be done as their company had just recently purchased the home....and everything that was promised was in fact done. I was even allowed to move into my home a week early and was not charged a penny extra and was asked to let them know if anything needed to be fixed up once I moved in. Anything I found was taken care of immediately....and as things came up (as happens in older homes) I have always gotten a response in the same day and issues taken care of immediately. I have had nothing but a wonderful and stress free experience with Centa.

If I could give a lower review I would. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are liars. They will harass you and share your credit information illegally. Rental agent is awful and never shows up. Office people are degrading human beings that will treat you like dirt. Dirty places some with graffiti and bugs. Save yourself! You are better off renting from anyone else if you can.

We had been renting for centa for 1 year and 4 months, within that time we had many issues with our home. Mice, mold, ant issues, carpet that needed to be replaced, etc etc. Normally we would handle the issue ourselves because centa would never call back. In the last few months we found moldy rotten wood under our carpet with an ant infestation. I have children so this was unacceptable. I emailed them about this issues on June 20 2017, call July 3 to check up on the issue and was told Vince would be out to look at it. I also brought up to centa that we were being harassed by the property management company because of complaints that were made about someone repairing a vehicle in my spot in the parking lot( I don't own a vehicle) and was told by Centa to just ignore the Dixon letters. I received a n5 at the end of July stating that they wanted to end my tenancy August 15 because of the issues with Dixon property management and that it was my second n5 in 6 months. I called to inquire and was told an n5 had been dropped off by Vince on June 20, never received the first n5 and don't forget no one came to look at the moldy wood or ant issue. I told centa no problem I will be out by August 15 as we had already been looking and secured a new home, then they say I have to give 60 days notice. Basically centa is a bunch of people who have no idea how to run a rental company since nothing was ever taken care of or addressed in regards to the situation inside the home which was unhealthy for my children. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!! I paid my rent a day early the entire time I lived there and I couldn't count on them to fix anything. Ridiculous!!!

You guys are LIARS! You not only broke the lease by not fixing anything but you also threatened my family after YOU kicked us out. And according to the landlord tenant board you did not handle anything correctly but I chose to move on and not sue your company for my children getting sick from the mold in the home. Look at the reviews here that'll tell you everything you need to know. After we moved out you sent contractors to the property and didn't give them a key, they were going in through the windows! Which they then broke. What kind of company sends contractors and doesn't give them a key.

If I could do negative stars I would. My husband and I viewed a home they had for rent(while were there the rental agent Vince was making rude remarks about other people viewing the home as well as the current tenant living in the unit) after discussing our options we decided to apply for the home with a deposit. We were told while giving the application and money that the unit would not be shown, or advertised, Nor would they accept any other applications since we gave a deposit. We were informed that we should receive a call within 2 days. After 4 days of no response from the company we called in for an update on our application and we're told we would receive a call within a few hours that never came. Everytime I called to try to get an update the woman gave an excuse that Vince had either left early, or didn't come in until later in the day. Finally after a week of attempting to find out what is going on with our application I managed to get an answer from the woman. Her response was "sorry that unit was rented to someone else." I told her exactly what we were promised when giving them a few hundred dollars to hold the unit and all she said was "they came in just minutes before you did." When we applied we were told that no one else had an application for the unit. Every single thing that this company said to us was either a lie or downright rude. They are only out to take people's money! Might I add as well that the unit is still advertised on kijiji as I am typing this review. They also expected us to wait another day to get our deposit back. My husband and I are extremely unhappy with the lack of professionalism and respect that everyone working in this company has presented to us. My advice- avoid this company AT ALL COSTS.
