We purchased a home from Midnight in Etobicoke and its been over 2.5 years battling with the owners and representatives trying to complete all the deficiencies from poor workmanship. We were deceived in paying extra for a Tarion Warranty as they presented it as only optional when this was already something they had to have as a new home builder. (Just so they can earn a few more dollars) The owners made many promises that they would fix all deficiencies or complete work and this has not happened. We have a complete lack of trust for anything stated by this builder and its representatives.

My wife and I feel it’s very important to provide feedback and reviews to pass it forward to others positive or negative.

We started building our dream home a year ago and it started off great and we couldn’t have been more excited! We had saved for 15 years and finally were in a position to see our dreams come true and share it with our two sons. Unfortunately the builder who had made these promises to fulfill our dreams mislead and stole from us.

One year later and over $300k gone we were lost and devastate. With no clear direction we didn’t know how to move forward. Fortunately we are truly blessed and have a great circle of friends and family who have stepped up yo help us fulfill this dream.

One of those folks is Jonah Rumm the owner of Midnight building. We, meant Jonah about 3 years ago and would have loved for him and his company to build our house but, unfortunately at the time Jonah was not doing major renovations but rather new builds. That being said Jonah and I continued our friendship and he would follow up to see the progress and was always willing to provide guidance. Fast forward to June 2022 when we has a family were devastated with our current builder and had to move forward without him. Jonah would always make time to listen / give advice and see how he could help us to move forward. Words can’t express how much his support meant for me and my family to get through this period of time.

What I want to highlight is Midnight building staff members Julia Domingues who works in the design department. Jonah offered her services to us as we were lost. She has been amazing to deal with even though we have just started our relationship she has been engaging, professional and above all sharing our exciting about the house. She has come up with great solutions/ideas within hours which we struggled with for days. We are very excited to see this project working with midnight building on the design interior and exterior.

Lastly what I would like to mention we leave reviews on companies based on their availability to deliver on what they promised and with in budget. Which is very important but, we rarely provide reviews on the human side and the kindness and people : companies that truly are invested with the families.

Midnight building and Jonah is that person / company that truly have all of those attributes. They become apart of your family!
