Never been more disappointed by a realtor in my life. Complete lack of respect and disregard of my time. Which is ironic since that's allegedly what they value most.

After cancelling our first meeting last minute due to a mistake on their end, I was understanding and patient. Mistakes happen.

After they showed up late for the rescheduled meeting, I was understanding. Traffic can be rough in Toronto.

After applying for a lease and being told to "expect a phone call that afternoon" I was polite when I followed up the next day after not receiving a phone call.

After being told they were "Looking for a better tenant, but if they didn't find anyone they'd let us know in a couple days" I was frustrated - but understanding.

Now it has been 3 weeks since this process started. Shafin and his team haven't followed up, haven't given an answer and I'm still in the dark about the property.

This has been a disgusting and dehumanizing process, proving that Shafin and his team are all talk. Another company eager to talk the talk, with no real follow through.

EDIT TO RESPOND TO CUBECOM

Normally I wouldn’t be interested in engaging further but the response from Cubecom was so egregious I felt the need to clarify the details.
1. Shafin did call me after seeing the review. He begrudgingly apologized for not responding to my emails asking about the property. He also questioned whether he should “Leave a bad review for my workplace” as a retaliation.
2. The conversation about a rejection never happened. They didn’t see my brother’s credit score – Shafin’s concern was that he was “too young and might burn the building down” They only saw my credit score, which was more than enough for approval. Again, I clarified this with Shafin on the phone and he said they would post it anyways.
3. Before abruptly ending the call, Shafin let me know he was actually “going to call and ask about meeting my brother to potentially rent to him” until he saw the negative review. Quite the contradiction for someone that was apparently already rejected.
