I purchased a property from this builder at 2031 Kennedy Road. The oven has not worked since move in due to a faulty control panel. As the oven has been discontinued the oven could not be replaced. Even though the oven is still covered by the warranty the builders customer care department has taken their time to resolve the issue. This has been ongoing since August 2024 and I still do not have a working oven until now (June 2025).

This builder engages in misleading sales tactics, lack competent workmanship and the property management group is inexperienced.

My fiancée and her family had purchased a 1 bedroom pre-construction unit for the K Square Condos project in 2019 for a purchase price of around ~520k. As part of the purchase, the sales and marketing team at the time were offering significant complimentary upgrades including under veilance led lighting, a kitchen utility rack, as well as an upgrade to the bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Fast forward several years and after numerous delays, occupancy finally occurs in November 2023. To our surprise, all the marketed and advertised "upgrades" were not completed. Upon escalating to their sales team and customer care, including the provision of multiple communications which evidenced the agreement to purchase being contingent on these upgrades, we were instead deferred to the purchase agreement and the floorplan referenced in the purchase agreement. Had we known the marketing and sales team would engage in such unethical sales tactics, we would have been more diligent in ensuring these promised upgrades were amended as part of the signed purchase agreement. Our frustrations were only just beginning.

Upon occupancy and the provision of our keys, we entered our unit in complete shock. The baseboard trim was crooked throughout, closet doors were hanging and not fully installed, the bathroom vanity light/scone was not installed in the bathroom, drywall/plaster was poorly applied throughout, painting was patchy and poorly applied, none of the integrated rj-45 ports work, our EV charger unit in our parking spot was not working.... all these issues are just a sample of the 3-4 dozen itemized issues and deficiencies that were noted.

Attempts to escalate with the builder and property management are poorly handled and the property management group is steadfast in ensuring every interaction is as painful as possible with their lack of attention and outright disregard for attending to whatever issues are raised - either deferring to some blanket boilerplate statement concocted by management or assigning blame and responsibility to the owner/tenant(as an example, in order for us to resolve issues related to our EV charger I had to contact the company directly who had installed the EV charger system in the building after being told countless times by management over 1-2 weeks it was not working due to "user error" - instead, it was because the site property contacts had not setup authorization for users in the system nor had they completed sub metering for the chargers!).

I will be updating this review as our engagements with the builder and property management are ongoing, but my experience with pre construction units is completely soured by this experience and I would NEVER recommend Kingdom Developments or this building to even my worst enemies. AVOID THIS BUILDER - TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE.

I regret to say that my experience with Kingdom Development has been highly disappointing. I recently booked a condo at K-Square Condo from this developer, only to receive an unfinished unit upon key handover. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I have encountered significant difficulty and unprofessionalism in their response.

The high occupancy fees I am paying are not justified as the unit is far from livable due to the ongoing mess and incomplete work. Despite filing a Tarion insurance claim, the repairs and outstanding jobs have taken an unreasonably long time to be addressed, causing further inconvenience and stress.

Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this developer to anyone. Their irresponsibility and lack of professionalism have left me with a very negative impression. Overall, I advise against engaging with this developer.

I, and many neighbours have complained about the noise and mess this company’s construction sites leave behind. If you want a company that has been ticketed and fined over and over again by the city of Toronto for starting UNSUPERVISED work at 6:00 am on a Saturday AND on holidays (I have video), then by all means, use Kingdom. I see a civil suit in their future. And reading the reviews below, I see that they are well on their way to being sued. Again.
