I am a new tenant here at Wiebe properties, and I my experience so far has been amazing. The entire process from the day I reached out to the admin team until today has been very smooth. Lisa Fraser, who is the manager here, is the best. She is so quick to respond, and that made my life very easy. I also like the community, and the amenities a lot. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to move to Abbotsford

We lived in Avinlea Court for two years and Lisa Fraser and Tamara were fantastic managers and always responsive to our questions/issues. Avinlea has the quirks and perks of an older building and the residents have been there for a long time so it has more of a community connection than some of the new builds. So, we often would end up chatting with Avinlea residents outside, in the foyer and in the laundry room. I would recommend this place to families, singles, couples, no matter the age or need.

I have used Wiebe Properties meeting rooms at The Hub, which is a newly constructed multi-use building. I host my business's onboarding and group session classes there. It is a spectacular meeting space, and the staff/concierge is amazing and professional. Nothing compares in Abbotsford. We are so impressed.

I lived at Marshall’s apartments for two years , very clean , loved the layout of the building itself. The walls were good for noise , I never had any complaints.

Avoid these landlords and property management company. I strongly advise against renting from them.

Central Park is poorly maintained, with cracks in the walls from settling foundations, stained carpets, and damaged walls in the common areas that have been neglected for months. Yet, they expect tenants to return units in pristine condition.

Living here has been a nightmare with other tenants partying, smoking weed and cigarettes in the unit, and especially during the move-out process. They are unreasonable and do not adhere to RTB policies. They demand tenants repaint for normal wear and tear, falsely claiming that wear and tear only applies after four years (which RTB has confirmed is incorrect). On top of that, they charge outrageous fees to unfairly keep your damage deposit.

Save yourself the headache—do not rent from them.

My wife and I have rented from Wiebe for just over two months now and I wanted to share our experience so far and caution others. This will be long but I encourage you to read on!

The day we moved in we looked at our socks/feet and saw they were very dark brown from dirt/filth. Interesting, because you expect your suite to be cleaned for your move in date (which they said they did.) We also didn't have too much foot traffic going in and out of the suite and it was a sunny, dry day, no rain water from shoes anywhere.

Anyways, a week or two after we had moved in we met a neighbour of ours and told him which suite we moved into. He told us that the lady living there before was an avid smoker. We quickly realized then that the filth on our feet from our floors is from the third hand smoke in the apartment.

This has been very disappointing and frustrating for us. We are paying a very high rate to live here and our floors are filthy from the last tenant. The rest of the suite looked clean, but every time we clean ourselves it's evident that the third hand smoke from the floors is getting into the air and on our belongings. Every time I have wiped down our table or counters there has been the same dark brown dust on the cloth.

This building we are in has a rule that there is no smoking of any kind which is interesting then because you wonder how she got away with smoking for months/years. Obviously her neighbours knew she was doing it but not the managers, or they just didn't care. Either way, we're paying the price by mopping over and over and cleaning constantly (buying lots of cleaning supplies too) until we get rid of the smoke residue in the floors.

Third hand smoke still poses lots of health risks as well and that's what we're dealing with. It's gotten on our feet and we've probably breathed a lot of it in at this point. I still can't believe that Wiebe somehow didn't know that this lady was smoking and didn't clean the suite appropriately. I guess as long as they get your rent that's all that matters.

Below are 3 pictures of 3 different mops that I cleaned the same area with, used a Swiffer wet jet and some floor cleaning vinegar. This is 3 different mops on the exact same area!! The 4th picture is the third hand smoke dust that is getting on all our stuff. This is after I wiped down our tv stand.

If you are considering moving in with Wiebe, I would ask about the history of the unit and if there have been smokers living it in before or even pets, just because they say it's not allowed doesn't mean won't happen I suppose. Check to make sure it's been cleaned thoroughly. I would not recommend Wiebe Properties to anyone after our first couples months here.

I lived in Katherine apartment for 6 years. The management team is amazing. The building is quiet and well maintained. Any time I had a problem it was handled quickly. I have recently moved to Central Park another Weibe property that is managed by one of my old Katherine managers. Lisa and Danielle are great property managers and always helpful. I can’t say enough about my experience.
