Terrible office management. Carol at the office is one of the hardest people to communicate with. She’s always angry and aggressive when talking to, and never helpful. She completely ruins this company.

Been living here for 8 years. So far so good. No unpleasant expreience both from the office and previous caretaker. However the current caretaker peformamce is way below in comparison to the pevious. They dont clean regularly. The lft interiors re unclean not even vacuum. The walls of the hallway are no longer as neat as before. The smell is no longer as good as lemon as before. Grass are not trimmed duriing summer. During winter the snow on front and backdoors are not regularly shovelled. No salt in place to prevent untoward slips or accident. Moreso implementing rules and policies without coordinating with the office beforehand. Dictator as such and no "common sense"

Terrible caretakers and even worse Management! They do absolutely nothing when you have a legitimate conplaint. They have a no dog policy but they just rented to natives and they are allowed to have a dog that constantly barks but no one else can. Kids run and scream up and down the hallways. People are always in my parking spot that I PAY FOR and caretakers wont even go outside and check so they get away with it.It's been super bad lately with the fact that there hasnt been heat or hot water and the windows leak cold air in winter and condensation so mold is starting to set in no matter how many times I scrub it and Management wont come in and fix it. Hallways are never cleaned. Every floor has their own laundry room but people from different floors will take over the laundry room and you can never do laundry! Heads up when calling the office: Carol and Angel are the most rude and disrespectful people I've ever come across!!

Please avoid if you have a choice. I have been to multiple properties. Caretakers are super helpful but they have the worst management I have encountered. The office has recruited ill mannered and extremely rude staff. Never take the accountability of any complaints. They hold fines for tenants delay/mistake but expect tenants to be understanding on management delay/mistakes.

One of the worst management companies in the city. The property managers at Active are some of the rudest people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They will only fix things after you threaten to terminate your lease. They do not care about their tenants, I don't know how they can be proud of their work.

Actually a zero star from me. Worst management ever in this city. First of all they are fully racist trying to rent apartment to white family or natives( due to government pressure) and they don’t even let you know that you are not approved after taking 6-7 days and if you call into their office that so called manager TAL and that old lady both are rude( 5 star in rudeness). I hope they will read this review and give retirement party to the lady first so she can yell at their Grandchildren by sitting at home rather than on customers.

They were fine until after I moved out. These people keep taking rent from my account despite the fact that I do not live there anymore. First time I called them the guy had the audacity to tell me “they will see what they can do”, excuse me sir the correct statement was “my apologies we will reverse the payment right away” second time same thing , they said they will have someone call me back. What they need to call me back about I don’t know. It’s very simple to remove my payment info from your files . Someone moved in right after I moved out so they see no error in taking rent for the same apartment from two different accounts?

My wife and I have been in this apartment for about a year and half and we couldn't be happier. The apartment is clean and spacious with a big balcony and we get a lot of sun through big windows. Everything I need is in walking distance and the closest bus stop is about 30 seconds away from the building entrance.

I have a good, friendly-neighbour relationship with the caretakers here that I always exchange greetings and small talk whenever I see them. I think they take a good care of us and the building and I like chatting with them. Whenever I visit the main office, everyone is nice and welcoming. My wife and I take a walk and sometimes talk about moving whenever we see a nice house but we always end up saying "we don't want to give up the current place".

My small wish is to have pets (currently not allowed) but other than that, I love the place and am appreciative of Active Management.
