I own an older home in Brandon near BU, and a few years ago, I started experiencing moisture issues in my basement. After reaching out to several contractors directly, I became frustrated with the lack of follow-up. My cousin, who had a new home built by Alair, referred me to them. Alair was excellent at keeping me informed and involved in the process from the start. Ultimately, due to a lack of interest from excavation companies, we decided not to proceed with the project. I believe Alair reached out to all of them, but unfortunately, it just didn’t come together. Despite this, I appreciated Alair's consistent communication and professionalism throughout the process.

The team at Alair Homes Brandon is amazing! We are from Ontario and are relocating to the Brandon, Manitoba area. We can’t be in Manitoba to design our new home, and this was a major worried for us. The team from Alair had taken this worry away. With their easy-to-use software, and their attend to detail, and knowledge in the industry, it was easy to design our dream home a whole province away. For not knowing anyone in Manitoba, designing and planning our home was a great and stress-free exercise with Alair. Highly recommend Alair Homes!!!!

In August 2022, we met with Kyle Neufeld of Alair Homes at our lake property at Sandy Lake. Alair was recommended by friends who had recently completed a renovation on a cottage near Clear Lake. Our project was an extensive renovation to our cabin where we were now living full time. Kyle’s initial guidance was very helpful and subsequent meetings clearly defined the Alair process, including the cost. We decided to go ahead with the project and the planning phase began through the fall of 2022. As with any project, there were bumps in the road. A transition to a new project manager was handled professionally and efficiently by Trevor Kehler ensuring we were informed and satisfied.
Our new project manager, Cody Silvius, quickly engaged in our project and was up to speed in short order. His input as we prepared for construction was invaluable. Cody’s experience in construction was obvious and his enthusiasm, engagement and passion for his work was amazing.
The construction phase began in May 2023 and concluded in September 2023. Cody and Alair handled the project very well, working with the contractors and suppliers while keeping us informed and involved. The online access is a great resource that we enjoyed using.
Overall, working with Alair Homes Brandon was a great experience. The commitment to work within our budget was especially appreciated. The ongoing support after construction ended is a great benefit. It was apparent that Alair Homes always had our best interests in mind. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who has a building project in the future.

We were so happy to have chosen Alair Homes Brandon for our main floor renovation and the construction of our garage rooftop deck. From the planning to execution, our project manager Kyle Neufeld had the expertise and knowledge to turn our ideas into reality. Alair was very thorough during the planning and budgeting stages which provided for a smooth construction phase. We were happy to have someone else responsible for ordering materials, coordinating trades, tracking the budget and handling any issues that came up during construction, which greatly reduced our stress while living in the house during the renovation. There was a huge value for us having Alair Homes manage our renovation and peace of mind knowing the work is on warranty. We would not have taken on a project of this scope without them.

As property owners, my family roots are in the Clear Lake area, dating back to the late 1800s. My immediate family has owned this particular property for over 60 years. I have spent a large part of my adult life working overseas, but have always returned to the area that I call home.
Having a vision in my retirement to build a house on the family property, I spent countless hours planning, designing, constructing models, working on pricing and meeting with builders. In the end, I decided to hire Alair Homes.
Alair worked through the project with me, and got it planned out and ready for construction. My project manager, Kyle Neufeld, truly worked hard at guiding me through the process with total transparency, ensuring that all my decisions were well informed.
This project, like most projects, came with its own set of challenges. Alair did not back down from any of them, by supporting me in making the best choices for myself and my new home. With great two-way communication, I always felt that everyone at Alair was looking out for my best interest as a client.
I would highly recommend Alair to anyone looking to build a custom home, or perform major renovations.
All things considered, this was a great experience, and I now have an amazing home that will stand the test of time, and I am confident that I will enjoy it for many years to come.

Alair Homes Brandon was hired to do a complete renovation of our front entrance and lobby at Elkhorn Resort. This project took place from February thru June of 2023 while the Resort remained open. There were many challenges involved with a project of this size in a space that was still in operation and catering to our guests. Cody and the team from Alair were amazing to work with and the quality of work was great. They were times when we needed to have guests use the salons (located next to the front lobby) and Alair would accommodate us by not having loud work going on but rather they would have painters or a quieter trade working during those times. The quality of work was exceptional as are their follow up visits once the project was completed. We have since hired Alair for another project at Elkhorn Resort for later this year and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

After all the stories we have heard about budget and schedules, planning a reno was a concerning prospect. We are so glad we chose Alair Homes for ours. They did a great job, they were professional, strong communicators, and just nice people to deal with. Our project cost a little less than planned and was right on schedule.
