I can't even give them a star, but I have to. My husband found Alberta Marine on Marketplace, selling a "pristine" white/black 2010 Glasstron GS209.We showed up with cash in hand & were ready to make a deal. If it was in the condition advertised, we would've paid cash & taken it off the lot! We have texts stating that the boat was in their showroom, but upon arrival, they don't have a showroom. The boat was advertised as, "meticulously maintained & in excellent condition". Upon arrival, the business owner told us he was into it for over $32,000, so, it was a real steal. He was motivated to sell & wanted us to make him an offer--they were motivated to sell because they were loosing money having this great boat just sitting around. We were met by sales & brought to the shop where he proceeded to tell us, they just bought the business last year & they didn't even know the boat even existed, until they did a good clean up of the property. The boat was traded in last summer & then sat outside, exposed to the elements ever since. The sales guy actually said, "you're a couple of hours early--I haven't had a chance to give it a bath". This boat was a huge disappointment. It didn't look like the pictures at all. It had mold everywhere from being exposed. To start, the cuddie was moldy. All the interior had signs of black mold, all carpets & upholstery needed to be pulled & replaced. The cushions were very wet & smelled. The deck flooring was cut up & needed replacing. There was considerable cracks in the fiberglass as well. All the deck seating had extensive wear & was showing signs of failure from the exposure to the cold. All the seats had thick, black, wet mold in the nooks & crannies--all seats would require new interior cushioning & upholstery as well. The prop looked like it was chewed up from rocks & misuse. There's no way this boat was meticulously maintained, as advertised. The paint was extremely faded & there were a lot of hits, dings & chips that needed addressing, to ensure the boat didn't leak. It was advertised at $24,995 but I wouldn't offer even $5,000 for all the work that needed to be done. They didn't even know the number of hours on the motor, despite taking it in last year as a trade. We were brought in under false pretense. They wasted our time & flat out lied. This is not a business we will ever deal with ever again & we will be warning others to stay away.

Rod in parts is always very helpful when I need parys for my current boat. I was considering replacing my Campion with a newer one they had for sale. Eric was very helpful getting details from the previous owner regarding the questions I had. Ultimately I am waiting to find something larger but I really appreciate the effort they put into answering my questions. A+

Our family was in the market for our first Boat, James was incredible on his knowledge of boats and not selling us but listening to our wants and needs. Needless to say we bought our first boat! Thanks for the great experience James. We will be back and tell everyone where to buy a Boat!

Had service work performed, paid the Bill, inspected the work, repair not completed, showed service worker the issue, after explaining the problem multiple times, worker could not comprehend the problem. Had to leave the boat there. Next day was contacted, said the problem was too complex for them to repair, after I had already paid for what they said they repaired. The front end staff are extremely poorly managed and unskilled!! Asked for the boat key, said it was in the boat, checked. It was not. Couldn’t find the key, I had to find it for them. Grossly incompetent repair shop!!!!

Just back from Nanton, spent the afternoon with Eric from Alberta marine going over the details of my new 2022 campion chase, customer service I received was hands down amazing! Knowledgeable and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure you walk away happy about breaking the bank, lol. Thanks Eric! I will be back for my next one!

Had my boat winterized here, service was fine and friendly aside from the fact that the price quoted wasn't what they charge.

Basic package was quoted at $345.00

They itemized antifreeze and gas conditioner as part of the service at a cost in the bill which was expected.

The surprise comes from a bill of an extra $80.00 for shop supplies above the qouted price. To this they also add the gst...

I asked what the additional shop supplies were and the tech just said all the extra stuff that they add to winterize.

The bill was roughly $100.00 over the quoted price.

Just not transparent on the billing, not cool guys

Changed ownership and service levels are abysmal. You’ll NOT find honesty or integrity when dealing with Alberta Marine any longer. First come first serve with a month required lead time is a bait and switch technique to get your boat dropped off. Once there you’ll find you’ll be given excuse after excuse as well as patronizing empathy that’ll never result in honoured commitments. In addition to not having the skillset to manage workload, there’s also no escalation path to get issues resolved. They get your boat, you stay at their mercy.
