This hotel is close to Disney parks - only a 15-minute drive. We found a good deal on the room price. I've stayed at other Aloft hotels before, but this one didn't have the same fun feel. The rooms were pretty plain. There weren't any pictures on the walls, and the bathrooms didn't have doors. But the hotel's lobby was nice. It had a cool play area where we hung out a lot. Brian at the front desk was really friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderfull time. Even with the hurricane the staff was great! The hotel has a small comfy vibe to it. Much more cozy than a mega resort. Within hours the staff made a effort to become familier with the guests. Great advice for navigating Disneyworld, the local restaurants and the surrounding neighborhood. What a great experience staying here this past week. We stayed here two nights on our way back home and would definitely stay again. Everyone was super friendly anytime we walked in and out. The bathroom was perfect. The bed extremely comfortable. Anything you could ask for. Like I said, everyone was great, but Bryan (who checked us in) went above and beyond. He deserves everything good in life.

We recently stayed at the Aloft Hotel in Orlando/Lake Buena Vista for four nights (Oct 17-21) and overall, had a positive experience. This modern hotel offers stylish rooms, a convenient location, and friendly service, making it a good choice for those looking to explore the Orlando area.

What We Loved:

Modern Vibe: The room was clean and contemporary with a pleasant fragrance. We loved the wood-look flooring, spacious shower, and cool lighting. The Marshall Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch!

Comfy Bed (Mostly): The bed itself was comfortable, but the feather pillows were a bit too flat for our liking. We requested extra pillows, which helped.

Great Location: The hotel is situated in a less congested area compared to International Drive, making it easy to get in and out. Plus, it's close to restaurants and shops, and offers easy access to Disney World without having to brave I-4.

Helpful Staff: The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, even when busy.

Areas for Improvement:

Pillow Talk: As mentioned, the pillows were a bit too soft.

Power Up Surprise: It took us a while to figure out that we needed to insert our key card into a slot by the door to activate the electricity in the room. Clearer signage would be helpful.

Parking Fee: The parking fee felt a bit steep for a non-resort property.

Good to Know:

The bathroom layout offers minimal privacy, with open-air spaces above and below the shower and toilet area. This might be something to consider for some travelers.

We didn't use the hotel amenities, but we did notice that they have several working electric car charging stations, which is a plus for EV owners.

Overall:

We would recommend the Aloft Orlando/Lake Buena Vista, particularly for solo travelers and couples comfortable with a more open bathroom concept. Its modern design, convenient location, and friendly service make it a solid choice for exploring the Orlando area. Just be prepared to request extra pillows and remember to put your key card in the slot by the door!

One Final Tip for the Hotel:

Please answer the phone! We tried to call multiple times before our stay to confirm our reservation (due to Hurricane Milton) and never got through. This was a bit concerning.

Would we stay here again? Yes, we would.

I just came from a stay here and I couldn’t recommend a better place than here! Check in went super smooth, no issues, and those at the front desk and cleaners were very friendly. The room have exactly what you need at a very reasonable price. We had no issues regarding hot water, the AC unit, or cleanliness. We were very satisfied with the room! We were even able to see the Disney fireworks from our room! The shuttles worked perfect and were according to schedule, it made for a very convenient trip to go to the parks! There are many restaurants nearby in addition to the outlets. Everything about the hotel and the surrounding area was perfect and convenient! We will definitely be coming back here in the future for any Orlando stay!

Nice experience staying for a week at Aloft.

Bryan at the front desk is exceptional at his job, he was very welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure that our week long stay was relaxing. That man deserves a raise for sure!

Rooms are okay, nothing exceptional. There is absolutely no bathroom privacy for a room with the king bedroom, so be mindful of that. Lobby area is nice, they have plenty of games along with the pool table to keep guests entertained.

The hotel offers limited shuttle service to Disney Parks (Magic Kingdom is excluded for some reason).

Very clean and updated. Super quiet did not hear a single noise all night. Love the modern unique decor. The room was small but plenty of space for 2 people we had 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. Easy courteous check in. There is no free breakfast and the prices were high and no microwave in room but I thought everything else was great for a one night stay.

Might need to redo this review, but currently waiting for breakfast to be prepared with other guests waiting in the lobby, and they decided now was a good time to vacuum. Really? why not wait until after breakfast hours when most guests have left? It's one of those really loud vacuums too. It's been blaring the entire I'm here. Normally you just step outside for this part or go back to your room, but we're all stuck waiting for breakfast.

so far I've spent 20 mins waiting for oatmeal...which is excessive.

Now for what truly matters: Rooms are great. Clean. Hot water. But this breakfast situation is a nightmare. Do your family a favor and eat out.

Edit: Raising rating to 4. Breakfast is not included here, and can be a very unpleasant experience (see rant above). However customer service was fantastic and the rooms were great.
