These guys try to make money out of occupancy by delaying closing. Plus they keep on charging irrelevant charges. In their Mississauga condo project they charge legal and admistrative fee for renting out the unit. This is infact ridiculous. Never seen a builder charging admistrative fee and legal fee if the unit needs to be rented out to a tenant.
Worst builder to deal with.

On January 22nd 2017 I bought a condo unit in Mississauga on the PSV2 building. At the time of the purchase I was told that closing would be in June 2017.

I was requested to provide ten (10) postdated cheques covering the interest of the balance between the price of the unit and the first payment, condo fees and property taxes. The interest rate applied by Amacon was higher than the mortgage rate that I negotiated with the bank at the time of the purchase.

Since July 2017 I have been asking (many times) for the closure date without any response. The interest rates have been increased two times by the government impacting the mortgage interest hat I will have to, pay.

Today, one year later I still don't have a closure date, nor an explanation of what's going on or the reason why we haven't closed yet. For about a year I have been paying interests to Amacon at a higher rate and have not been able to start paying my mortgage, which now has a higher interest rate.

On the other hand, the quality of the unit is very poor. There were too many deficiencies, which took too long to get fixed, requiring multiple access to the the unit.

I am very disappointed with Amacon and would not do business with them again.

I live at PSV2, and amacon has the worst customer service I have ever come across!! I called many times and was finally put in touch with Rajeev who said he is the customer service manager. He is rude, abrasive and arrogant. He was not willing to help a customer at all. I am very disappointed in how we were treated. I guess Rajeev is new as I was used to dealing with Grahame and his team, who weren't great, but at least they were respectful, nice and tried to help. I hope someone gets back to me so I can get my very minor issue resolved.

**UPDATE**
Still have heard nothing. This guy Rajeev and this company are a joke! I would never buy a suite again from them, or recommend them to anyone! Way better builders who build quality units and will actually take care of their customers.

PSV2 has the best condo units in Mississauga. The Unit layout is pretty good and also well built by the Amacon builder. I would definitely recommend.
