Was at this location and was surprised that there was no air conditioning when it’s extremely hot and humid outside.

The staff were wonderful, polite and most helpful. While I was only in the store for roughly 20 minutes, I found the humidity and stuffy, hot environment uncomfortable to shop in. How do the employees feel working in that all day?

I bought a used dining table from marketplace, but unfortunately I'm dumb and didn't get the hardware to put it together.

I went to this HH location and bought some random bolts hoping to find the right size, but they weren't working. After deciding to give it one more shot, I asked an employee for assistance. I explained the situation and what I had already tried, and based solely on this info he was able to find me the correct hardware! Pretty sure he's a wizard.

Their hours aren't the best but they have a LOT of merchandise in the store considering the size, and have already saved me a couple of trips to Barrie in the last 2 months. And you definitely won't get the same customer service and expertise from any big box store.

Super nice people. I phoned ahead to confirm inventory, which they immediately checked/confirmed and then put aside for me until I got there. I will happily shop here again 👍

This store in Angus is useless !! Never has anything that's on sale (flyer). Angus needs a Home Depot or even a Rona . If that ever happens " Goodbye Home Hardware" !!

I realize this is a local hardware store and can't compete with alot of prices. What I do know is the service is the best and that's why I'm giving a 5 star.
They are always willing to give you great advice and attention which you cannot get anywhere else.. I have been going to this store for years and the service as always been great .
Most notable is Wayne Foreman which has been outstanding service and advice and got a good concept of all products and applications and I recommend they keep him if they want to continue to get good reviews 😊

Went to have skates sharpened.
The man said, no sorry he couldn’t. I waited for a response as I assumed the machine was broken. He then said that he doesn’t have anyone in the store to cover him so he can sharpen the skates. There were 0 customers, and 1 employee standing at the till next to him staring off into space as she had no customers to serve. It wasn’t that he couldn’t, it was that he didn’t want to. I come to this Home Hardware for last minute convenience bc their prices are through the roof and customer service is lacking. Now they have given me a reason not to return- with places like Amazon and other delivery services, small businesses such as this need to rely on the customer service they offer- I will not be disappointed when they eventually go out of business, which is inevitable.

It's nice to have a hardware store in Angus for convenience... but man you pay convenience price... everything is over priced as. Competitors or even convenience or ordering Amazon. They are never open on Sundays so don't waste your time. They are a small town store. So don't expect typical hardware service you get else where. Slow service and not always in stock.
