I’m extremely disappointed in how Argo Development has handled their project in Millcroft, Burlington. They removed over 400 mature trees in a single day, without proper community consultation or clear approvals, and during a time when birds were actively nesting. This has caused significant harm to local wildlife and left many residents feeling ignored and betrayed. From what I’ve seen, Argo seems far more focused on profits than on respecting the environment or the people who live in the neighborhoods they develop. I would urge anyone considering buying from this developer to think more than twice.

Awesome work at Millcroft in Burlington. The speed and quality of the work the builder is doing despite continuous illegal disruptions by a group of selfish people who don’t want to share the space with other families who are looking for new homes in Burlington. Thankfully the province has supported the build and we can’t wait to move into our new home soon. Sad that some people are too selfish and only concerned about themselves - but the builder is doing a very good job to drown out the whines. Thank you and keep going !

Incredibly irresponsible brazen developer who does not prioritize community engagement or provide open communication to the communities it develops within, aka Millcroft in Burlington. Argo cut down 400+ mature trees on May 1, 2025 without City approval and violated the Federal Migratory Birds Convention Acts by felling trees with active nests in them during the active breeding bird nesting season. Don’t believe me? Check out the considerable news coverage on the matter. They are actively developing on a legislated floodplains which spells disaster for the Millcroft community itself, the new homes and the thousands of folks downstream who will be affected.

This developer plays dirty and is driven by greed - I would never entrust them to build my family home. Look elsewhere when considering buying a home from these heartless individuals.

Terrible. This builder will cut corners and build homes guaranteed to develop mold in the basement, they build on flood plains without informing buyers. If you care about the safety and health of your family NEVER buy a home built by Argo. I would give negative 5 stars if I could.
