Hi Hey It was very surprising that I left the property on August 31 2024 and they were still took out rent of September from my Account even if I was opt out their auto payment plan it was highly disappointed that after they took the full month rent even if I have already left their property and then they stop to respond my multiple calls and emails. Lastly I had sent a voice message that I would be take this dispute to the Manitoba Tenancy Management and sue them for taking rent even after I left the property still they rigid people not responding.
All’n all I report a dispute to my bank and my bank gave me my funds back.
I have never seen such disgusting people and management in my life.
I was facing a huge financial crisis on that month but those people never called me back.

No one is taking care of this company’s tangents.
Care taker of the building is always in Drunken condition,super arrogant and rude. He yells out on the innocent tenants without any proof.
If you want to complain about anything the Main office never picks your call.
Their Residents manager keeps changing after every two months .
Security is 0(Zero) out of 10z
Parcels of Tenants are stolen and opened ridiculously and thrown them on the stairs.
I’m attached a photo of it.
Even safely lockers of Tenants are being rooted on July 1st 2023.

All of the people working here are so helpful and understanding. Especially Marvin and Mary from the office and James the property manager. Everyone is really welcoming and know what they are doing. Really appreciate the support I've had from these people. Highly recommend the place if you're looking for a place to rent.

I have really bad experience with this company. The only person I can reach out to is my property manager who can't help me. I moved out two months ago and I still can't find anyone to get my deposit back.

Also, during my 12 months stay, they changed several property managers and nothing is properly managed, the heat was too hot for a month, buzzers was broken for a really long time and nobody cares.

Not a renter of this company, but have had many friends rent from this unprofessional group of owners and seen the apartments first hand, bed bugs and failing appliances and issues never repaired, As you can see from the childish responses from the owner they have no business sense and look down on others. If you’re looking for a place to rent I suggest every other company besides this one as they will only drive you out or drive themselves further into the slumlord category. 10/10 do not recommend

I have had a very bad experience with this property management. My fridge was broken for 3 months and they even did not answer a phone call or any email. My place has been infested by cockroaches and spiders. Caretakers are changed frequently and we did not have anyone for like 4 months to take care of the building. I don't believe in any of their excuses.

Slumlord Management Not Astroid Management
I regret to say that my experience with Astroid property management has been extremely disappointing. Both tenants and employees are treated poorly, and it's evident that there are significant issues with leadership and management. The CEO's lack of understanding of the business and the micro-management from his wife create a toxic work environment where employees are constantly under scrutiny and fear of termination. Additionally, the neglect of pest infestations in residential buildings is concerning, as is the unprofessional behavior of contacting tenants to yell at them about rent. The high turnover rate further underscores the dysfunction within the company. Overall, I would not recommend renting from or working for Astroid property management.

I will advise you to take them RTB for none repairs and pest issues. They don’t care about their tenants.

These guys are crooks. Complete mismanagement. They don't care about any issues the residents have. We heard from the property owner that they withhold money from them and coerce them to sell their properties. And they charge close to a $1000 to board up broken windows, not even fix the panes of glass.

We heard from a potential renter who responded to a "for rent" ad by email and by phone and never heard back and its been about 2.5 weeks now.

We've had a broken sink for about 6 months before they did anything. When our stove stopped working, they again took months to fix.

These guys are crooks. Avoid renting from them. Avoid having them manage your property. Report anything and everything to the Better Business Bureau.

I have been renting from Astroid for three years and the quality of their service and the building has rapidly declined. Constant change of site managers, none of whom respond to urgent issues and do not seem to care about resident safety or comfort. My suite wasn't wired for internet upon moving in despite being advertised as such. The closet rod broke same day. The suite was in poor condition, scratches and paint chips everywhere. The water runs cold, yellow, or not at all every few months if we're lucky. Multiple bug infestations over the years that aren't handled with urgency and require multiple treatments on short notice. Repair work is always shoddy, have also had my suite entered illegally without notice which no one cared enough to take my complaint about. Took multiple emergencies over years for Astroid to finally install a buzzer because EMS and police couldn't get in and also made complaints for tenants. One of the entrance locks has been broken for months, the other freezes constantly in winter. Rent keeps going up because they will take away discounts for long term residents to get around the province's rent increase rules. Has increased $175 for my suite since moving in yet the building is always filthy and often unsafe. The laundry service is almost always broken, and now costs nearly $7 a load because they've increased it twice in 2024 alone (it is currently April). Office staff don't care to answer calls emails or voicemails and the after hours staff also don't bother to respond. Good luck in an emergency, Astroid does not care.
