I’ve been with Avenue for sometime now. I have seen the bad and the good. The last couple years have gotten so much better and the office staff have been fantastic. Two steady awesome maintenance guys, a steady communicative office admin Laura, manager Wasim and the new rental guy I see around occasionally. I’m glad to see the positive changes and proud of where I live now. The change in office has been positive and I see the hard work everyone does. Thank you to everyone for bringing about the positive changes. And thank you Laura for sticking through it all and being there for Wetaskiwin tenants.

It’s been about 7 months since we asked for avenue living to fix the mesh screen of each window in our two bedroom. I ended up having to fix the one in my kids room myself because even after several calls, they did not come and lots of flies were getting in making us all uncomfortable. Now the one in the other bedroom has still not been fixed and we’ve had to close it off since then, so there’s zero ventilation in that room. Every time I call the customer care, they lie that the screen is on order. It’s been on order for 7 months? I can’t wrap my head around why they have just refused to fix it. What a shame.

Avenue Living has been a great place for my family to live. Laura, the manager, although not living on property, really helps and is always takes care of needs. Rent is a little high for the place, but aside from that, Laura makes it manageable abd Avenue Living as always prompts with any repairs or needs. Overall it’s great, just a little high in price.

I deleted my first 5 star from 5 years ago so I could re review - Laura has been the absolute best to deal with. She is always on top of anything you need and is always there to help. I’ve got nothing but good words about her, and she makes this company worth working with. She should be the spokesperson! I deal only with her as she is always professional, kind, quick and solution orientated. For 5 straight years she has been my contact and I couldn’t see it any other way. She is simply the best of the best.

Our experience with as great and I have absolutely no issues. I believe if you follow the rules and take care of things they will bend over backwards for you and that is exactly what both the office and maintenance staff did for us. They understood our issues and work quickly and efficiently to correct the problems. Not only would we recommend renting again from this office but we did !!

Stayed here for almost 3 years
Cannot recommend this place to anyone

Saw a women moving in as I was moving put and felt bad for her

1/2 the lots are empty
1/4 of the lots are family's
1/4 of the lots are regulators and drunks

I had a random drunk break my bedroom window in September 2024, avenue living neglected the situation for months before I got it fixed myself

On my first 1 year lease in 2022 the price for a 2 bedroom was 1180 a month
After my lease was up they increased rent by 150$

I resigned a 6 month so I could start looking elsewhere which ended up costing an extra 50$/mo on top

I signed 2 6 month leases and when they were up the increased my rent another 75$

I then switched to month to month as I was closer to wanting to move

After 1 year of month to month they sent me a lease notice stating the market rent for my apartment was 1440$/mo and that they would give me a deal for the low low price of 1567 locked in on a 6 12 or 18 month lease

Not only were they going to charge me OVER market price but they wanted to separate the utilities which would have ended being around 2k a month for a 2 bedroom

Alberta has no regulations when it comes to increasing rent prices multi billion dollar real estate company will ruin your community

Also the guy working the leasing office is a lying scumbag

I rated three stars because the rent increases that have occurred were massive and have made it harder to make ends meet.
However the office admin has been very helpful, and kind. Also very patient and willing to take time to answer questions, and solve problems. Thanks Laura.

I have been lucky with Avenue Living. I have enjoyed talking with Laura, the Admin, in the Wetaskiwin office. Quick to help, gets me answers as quick as she can, and if not gets me in touch with someone who can. Thank you Laura!
