Bonne location, juste ne pas prendre l option gps...c'est un gps externe..et si vous prenez un milieu de gamme comme une Ford fusion vous aurez Android auto ou la version Apple..

Arrived at 3pm on the dot and was told I was late (they close at 3pm). By time the guy approached it was 3:01 and apparently there was nothing they could do (3 members of staff standing around). I had been given the wrong size of car which was 1 hour late on pickup and was unable to reverse it out under pressure whilst the woman was shouting abuse at me. I gave the keys to the guy and started to walk away, he proceeded to chase after me and my pregnant friend trying to put them in her bag. So extremely rude and unkind people. I explained I has 1 min late due to traffic, also had a 8 week old puppy with me and didn’t appreciate the shouting in the garage. Long time renter from Avis and I’ve never experienced this behavior!

Absolutely horrible experience. My father made a reservation for a 12 passenger vehicle because we have an annual family reunion we do every September and we travel upstate. We had family fly in from other places for this. When we arrived they said the car was not available. Completely derailed and inconvenienced us. We tried asking why this is happening and the people working there were no help whatsoever. I was visibly irritated and asked the lady “what is the point of making a reservation if this is will happen” and she immediately got an attitude and said “vehicles come and go” like what kind of response is that to a customer who is clearly upset and inconvenienced by the company you work for ?! I understand that they just work there and are trying their best but the way they handle customers is completely unprofessional. I said to her “that doesn’t make any sense can you please explain” and she got completely defensive and started acting as if I was attacking her personally. She said my father was a pleasant man but that he did a horrible job in raising me. Like what kind of person takes things personal like that and resorts to insulting the customer when I never ever insulted her to begin with. I simply asked her a question about her job, and of course I’m going to be visibly upset about what’s happening if we had a reservation and then we show up and there’s no car. It makes no sense to me.

If you have important plans DO NOT use Avis and DO NOT use this location. They literally do not care about servicing the customer. The lady in the front needs more training to handle customer complaints and learn not to take things personally. Completely disgusted with our experience.

There's another Avis at 76th! Go there instead if you are using Avis. Was just given a fully electric car that they hadn't bothered to charge. Less than 50 miles of range on it, and as they gave me the keys they said - you don't need much gas, 'its a HYBRID'. It was not a hybrid. I had not reserved an electric car. (If they had charged it I could have made it work just fine) Luckily I had two hours so I could pay to put it in a garage and get a few more miles of charge into it.. if I had had to leave immediately as I had originally planned I would have been completely screwed. Zero help or assistance of any kind from the office here. As I returned the car I heard a gentleman running into the exact same issue with a different car.

I actually always managed to have good experience with Avis. Canada, US, Spain. This location put a dent in my experience. It started off with a person in front of me having some arguement and tearing some paper apart. From what I could gather, he did not get a car for whatever reason... So I was already nervous. And yes, service was rude. Weird questions about my work. First time ever requested to show proof I am in USA "legally" (Canadian drivers license). Then long akward waiting without saying anything, trying to call someone. I got nervous smth is wrong... After 10 minutes of the waiting, I got a car! Not very good, but at that point was happy to just get a car. Checked everything, signed paper, got the keys. Started driving out of garage and heard somebody shouting loud behind me and employee running after me. I stopped and employee told me I need to go back, lady needs to tell me smth. I drove back and was told I actually can not take the car, as it is not supposed to be rented. I almost freaked out thinking I am not getting a car! They then assured I am getting another car. And that was disaster again. They gave me a car with bunch of scratches on outside, dirty inside and different class. I did not want to argue at that point, as too much time wasted, just needed a car and did not expect any kind of communication at that point.
Was very nervous about drop off, but luckily it went pretty smooth.
Would not go to this location again

I always use to love this location but in the last two times i’ve rented. the cars are filthy outside. i actually had to clean the mirrors and back window by myself as i couldn’t see. Especially at night.

My last experience was worse. i had a reservation at 3. when i showed up at 2:50. The woman working the office had already closed the lights and the window was no longer open. She blamed me that she “also” had a family and had been working all day. Unprofessional and very rude. i will no longer rent at this location.

Terrible service. Unless you have been here before, you cannot find it. Place signs and let people know where to go! Aside from that, I get down there and start the process with someone who is not friendly or helpful AT ALL. (The receptionist, the other guys were helpful and helped me pull the car out because it was a very tight spot.). My reservation was with pre-paid gas however I received the car 3/4 of a tank and was charged ~$120. If you pre-pay you have to receive the car with a full tank. The car was also dirty and I did not sign for paperwork as kept saying “you will get an email”. During my trip I reviewed the terms and knew something was wrong. I returned the car to the 76th st AVIS and explained my situation and they were very, very kind and knowledgeable and were able to help me rectify the situation. Extremely helpful, So thank you 76th st. AVIS!!! Thank you so much!
