Bonne adresse pour une location de vélo ! Le staff est accueillant et donne de bon conseil sur les itinéraires et vélos à choisir. J'ai fait un jour plutôt route et un jour E-mountain bike, très bons vélos de marque Trek et comme neuf, top!

Took e-bikes up to Lake Moraine in late May before it was open to cars! What a magical trip for our family. Banff Cycle & Sport was super easy to work with and accommodated our children. Used a Thule trailer to bring out 2 and 4 yo. Highlight of our trip to Banff and Jasper!

Met the owner Tom at the appointed place for our party of 6. He was super helpful with instructions and helping get the right fit on the e-bikes. We rode to Lake Morraine last week of May. The road is closed to tourist traffic until June, so except for a few commercial vehicles we had the road to ourselves. The bikes were high quality, our ride was trouble free, and the scenery was glorious! Highly recommend renting from Banff Cycle.

Just wanted to take a second & thank the staff at Banff Cycle & sport. As they were so very Helpful and very Informative.

The whole experience from booking online to getting our bikes in store was so easy and effortless. Kate was so helpful, letting us know where the Banff legacy trail began and how to get there. She even exchanged our fat bike rentals for mountain bikes because the snow has melted & that made for a better experience!

10/10 recommend renting from them. They really care about the customer experience! Even asking how our ride was when we returned was thoughtful. Thank you ladies for your kindness and hospitality.

Had a fun 3 days with my bike! The staff were really lovely and I stopped by the morning of my second day with it and let them know the seat was uncomfortable and they lent me a padded seat cover. I covered Canmore, Lake Louise, and Lake Minnewanka on bike by myself, and it was a very reliable way to get around if you have the energy for it! The hill leading up to the Lake Louise lakeshore was so hard I genuinely had a hard time walking it, but overall the ride there from Banff was just beautiful. Made plenty of pit stops to take photos and breaks, and ultimately decided to take the roam bus back.

All in all, biked over 130km in my time with the bike and couldn’t be happier with my time in Banff. It’s so gorgeous biking here and there are so many bike trails and nice roads that aren’t too busy with cars, plus there’s a whole stretch that’s closed to cars as of May. Lake Minnewanka was my favourite route and a relatively quick and easy ride. I had the fortunate experience of biking it in the morning and hearing two Indigenous guys sing and played traditional music while looking over the view of the lake. It was an almost spiritual experience that felt completely timeless. It’s the beauty of seeing the same landscape that your ancestors did and singing a song they could’ve sang too. What a beautiful way to stay connected to the land, made me appreciate the preservation of these parks and its history so much more. There’s truly no better way to get to know a place than on foot or by bike. You can’t immerse yourself the same way by car.
