Furthermore, accessibility is strong even without a car. Essential amenities like Walmart, Metro, Dollarama, and various restaurants are all within a short 5-8 minute walk, which is a significant practical benefit, particularly in winter.

Units and Common Areas
While the structure is definitely old, the quality of the newly renovated units helps mitigate this age. These apartments are notably spacious and benefit from ample natural light that flows in throughout the day, creating an open and inviting atmosphere. The common area corridors are also decently wide, which aids in the overall comfortable feel of the property. However, two suggestions stand out for further improvement: the value for money at current prices is not quite up to the mark, and would strongly suggest that management include essential modern amenities like dishwashers and microwaves in the new units.

The new management at 1440 Lawrence Avenue West has been amazing! The difference compared to the old management is night and day. My unit needed some repairs, and maintenance came right away—fast, professional, and done properly the first time. It’s such a huge improvement from before, when things would take forever to get fixed. The building already feels more organized, better cared for, and you can tell the management actually values the tenants now. Very impressed with the changes!

Gasper did a great job with all the repairs and services required. He is a good human and a hard worker! He helped with replacing my exhaust for washroom, checked and repaired all the electric sockets, assisted with replacing knobs for kitchen drawers and all other work as well! Thank you.

Been living here for a very long time now, and I must say the management is absolutely awful. I won an eviction against them and the tribunal made the lawful rent very clear, and also put us on a payment plan for any legal rent owing, we have been making all payments since (after the tribunal hearing was complete) and what do they send us a few monthes later ? Charge us a bigger amount than tribunal agreed upon, and another N1 notice the management is a complete joke, I have nothing but evidence and a tribunal agreement to beat them in everyday possible, stay clear of renting from here because the management is SO disorganized and simply unprofessional in almost every way they do things. After the constant annoyance of there disorganization. I'll be filing a many things against them for the improper management and many illegal approaches of doing things.

Based on the cock roach infested apt bldgs they own , this is not a company you want to work for or be associated with. They should be shamed to cleanup the buildings where tenants are withholding rent due to " slum landlord" conditions. Sad that Toronto has landlords like this & Mayor Chow does nothing to fix problem.

100 Rowena is run by a bunch of clowns who are going to catch a discrimination case just because I have all the time in the world and free legal counsel due to odsp. Those management thinks they can operate above the law. I've already made them face fines twice trying to get a countertop replaced for 3 years.
