Our family rented an executive home from Baydo for roughly 7 years in Evergreen. Sadly, I can not offer them a positive review and here are the main reasons why....
Prior to leasing with Baydo, both my partner and I were home owners. For several logistic reasons we chose to lease instead of own. One of those reasons was that home ownership requires a lot of time investment when it comes to routine maintenance, yard work, repairs, etc. Because I traveled a lot, we opted for leasing to keep home life as simple as possible while away...
Well... unfortunately .. that is not how things ended up going, having sadly chosen Baydo for occupancy.
I will spare the reader pages of examples, but in a nutshell, in the 7 years of renting, there was never so much as one house inspection done, as you would expect. Reputable agencies will do a documented walk through AT LEAST once a year.
There was no routine maintenance or any standard maintenance done whatsoever in that 7 years.
When we requested standard household maintenance, we were told we had to pay for it ourselves unless the appliance / item was actually broken, in which case they would just replace it once it stopped working, including the furnace.
In the 7 years there we had to pay for all major household routine maintenance items, like annual furnace inspections, air conditioner servicing, duct cleaning, exterior dryer vent cleaning, painting, blinds repairs and maintenance (which cost thousands of dollars because the blinds would break very easily)... etc.
When major events would occur (like the air conditioner not working), they would threaten to send us a bill for its repair.
When the toilet broke and would not stop pumping water out, they made us replace the damaged baseboard (even though we called them as soon as the issue began).
When the kitchen sink began leaking on a Friday under the cupboard, we notified them immediately and they said they would not send anyone until Monday... even though the water was pooling on the floor, creating a clear mold risk. We eventually talked sense into them when I notified them that I'm keeping all text messages should they try to ding us for water damages.
When the ice machine in the fridge stopped working..thus flooding the kitchen floor, they claimed the fridge didn't come with a working ice machine and until we persisted they said we'd be billed if we wanted it repaired.
The gentleman that did the condo yard work was intoxicated often while working, and once called my 8 year old autistic daughter over and told her to move his jerrycan full of gas to his van for him.
The property managers would text photos to me of large breed dog feces found in the condo yard, telling me to go clean it, when we do not have such a pet.
They would come into our yard and spray without notifying us either in advance or that it had even been done.
I could definitely go on for a very long time, but in a nutshell this agency offers a 3rd world living experience, promotes unsafe and unsanitary living conditions and should not be legally in business.
While we were doing our walk through upon vacating the property the agent got a call that one of their buildings just collapsed with several injured. We were not surprised to hear this whatsoever. That was just a matter of time with the complete disregard they show for human life and safety.
If you are a good quality tenant, I highly recommend you look to a different agency.
