Adorable host, clean and spacious room, snacks in the fridge, housecoats slippers and towels for the hot tub, expansive garden. Kitchen had all amenities including an induction countertop and coffee maker with tea and coffee. The host greeted us immediately and provided some coffee cake! Stores close enough to walk to, beach is a one minute walk away. Completely secure building with a small lobby and staircase leading up to the sunset suite that we rented for one night. Book direct through the host to save money on booking and cleaning fees! ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We occupied both suites with 6 of us. Lots of room! We enjoyed the front deck for morning coffee and the ocean breeze in the afternoon and evening. The back patio was great for hotter mornings and afternoons. Vwry convenient location! Laurel was an excellent host! We would love to stay again in the future.

We spent a week in July at the Sunrise Suite and were thoroughly pleased with our accommodations. Laurel was an amazing host! The suite was fully equipped, down to the last utensil, and everything was extremely clean and neat. We made full use of the deck for eating dinner and enjoying the views of the water and the bald eagles in a nearby tree. The neighbourhood was peaceful and the oceanfront trail was only steps away - a perfect place for a morning or evening stroll. Restaurants and groceries within walking distance. Laurel's breakfasts and snacks were to die for! Hope to return again soon.

Stopped here for three night on our Canadian trip. When we arrived Laurel greeted us warmly and took us up to our suite. We were staying in one of the two upstairs suites, there is a short staircase to climb to it. She showed us around the whole flat , gave us great information about places to visit and eat. She also gave us a map of the town and marked up all the places and directions to where we wanted to go. It is only a short walk to the seafront and the main parade of shops and restaurants. Its a lovely suite large lounge with a double bed , chairs and a dining table , a separate bedroom which we used , lovely bathroom with bath, and a small kitchenette which had everything that you needed to make breakfast and meals if you needed. Our first night we took Lauren's recommendation to visit the Quinsam River and got some fantastic views of Black Bears fishing. We visited every morning and evening of our trip and saw bears fishing each time, on one occasion one decided to get a little close to us walking on the path we were on, and although we didn't need to use them we were glad that Lauren has an alarm and bear spray available for guests to carry. Its a perfect location to walk along the harbour front and every day we saw humpback whales in the sea . Our first night we grabbed a takeaway to take back to the suite as everything was there to enjoy a meal,and ate at a different restaurants every other night. The suite is comfy , very clean and Lauren is a delightful host talking to us every day when we returned from our trips to find out our adventures. It is a very quiet residential location, with off road parking and we never heard any noise from any of the other residents. We didn't get to see the garden , as the weather wasn't great on our visit but one day did sit on the balcony for coffee which was lovely. Apparantly, in the Spring and summer you can view bald eagles from here, it was a bit late in the season for us, but we did see eagles and turkey vultures at the nearby river.We also didn't try the breakfasts as it was so close to town to buy some or we made our own. Would highly recommend the suites its a lovely base for exploring the area.

A lovely b and b in Campbell river. We stayed with my parents so rented both rooms. Both equally comfortable, clean and well equipped. We arrived late after a long day and early the next morning but Laurel could not have been more helpful or accommodating. One of the best breakfasts we had whilst in Canada for 2 weeks. The warm muffins were amazing!!! I'd love the recipe!

We were a bit miffed that no-one was there to greet us when we arrived, but instructions were clear and we found our room to be of good size with a small kitchenette. With no greeting we had to find eating places without recommendation but there was plenty of info available in the room.||As we were due to leave for an early boat trip next day (of 3 night stay) we had to make contact ourselves in order to cancel our breakfasts which was a shame as these were brought to our room the following days and were very nice. Cooked eggs and potatoes one day and cooked muffins the next - had to take a few with us!||||We were given good advice on places to eat and buy food; we had a busy schedule whilst there but Laurel could have pointed us in the right direction for attractions if we had wanted to. Altogether a nice stay, our only comment would be that the B&B is a drive away from the good restaurants up by the harbour and you need to walk a few minutes to the beach.

Wir sind 3 Übernachtungen bei Laurel abgestiegen und hatten zu 3 Personen die "Sunrise Suite ", einfach wunderbar. Ich habe selten ein so perfektes B&B erlebt! Liebevoll eingerichtet, geschmackvolle Dekoration, ausgezeichnete Betten, ein Kühlschrank mit allem was man sich wünscht für ein Frühstück ( wobei das gar nicht mit gebucht war), einfach prima . Ein großes Bad mit Mengen an farbigen Handtüchern und Duschtüchern, sodass endlich mal jeder seine Farbe merken konnte. Die kleinen Details ließen einen so wohl fühlen, als käme man nach Hause! |Herzlichen Dank für alles Laurel!

Wonderful location, very close to the ocean in a quiet neighborhood. The owner, Laurel, is very friendly and welcoming. The sunrise suite is nicely appointed, with plenty of room for four. A huge bathroom, well appointed kitchenette, and a large balcony. Very comfortable. We will not hesitate to stay with Laurel again and will recommend to all our friends.
