I booked a 2 night stay in the Goose Cabin and fell in love with this whole property. We ended up extending our stay, and have since been back many times. We have spent some time trailer camping here as well. The surrounding nature is so peaceful and beautiful. This is a great basecamp location for various sightseeing destinations like Ram Falls, Bighorn Falls, as well as multiple lakes and rivers. The James River is right along the property. There are also many lovely trails on the right here on site. The owners are amazing! Adrian and Inge are exceptional hosts who will make sure you have the best time. Full of great recommendations for the area. Definitely worth checking out Bearberry Cabins for comfy lodging or a great camp spot on this large property.

This was a nice place clean fresh available for the weekend we wanted. The owner Adrian and his wife Inge, with the staff do excellent work keeping everything clean and stocked. Highly recommend for any engagement. Will be going there as often as we can. It’s a nice place quiet and out-of-the-way to recoup From our busy lives.

A bit of a drive out of Sundre but worth it as you are that much closer to the foothills, wild horses, waterfalls, rivers and more. Cabins are more than well appointed. They have so much on hand! We had a mini family reunion and now we know which cabins to ask for together, but even apart there was a quick walk between. Easy access to the river as well.

Given the fore-knowledge these cabins are close to nature with little else nearby, you will not be disappointed

The Cabins, especially the newer ones are better than a 5 star hotel. They are clean, with full bathrooms and kichens, very good parking, surrounded by trees, and a nice fireplace with one gift of logs to get you started, and more available on request for a reasonable cost.

Access to the location is a bit haphazard on gravel local driveways from a paved road.

It's normally very quiet, with clear starlit sky's above, very tranquil. A nearby small river adds counterpoint.

On the plus side WiFi was awsome and large screen TV's we con ected to satellite streaming.

If you want a few days away from most everything, in comfort, this us the place to go. It's on the edge of Foothills to the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains.

We stayed at the Goose cabin this past June and what a peaceful and relaxing place! Inge and Adrian went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for. Cabin was so cozy and stocked with all essentials that we required. The cleanliness of the cabin was exceptional, inside and around the cabin site. My only concern was the mattress on the double bed, it is getting worn out (sink to the middle of the bed) and could probably be replaced. Will definitely go back again, great place with great cabins and beautiful spots for hiking, and going down to the river! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable!

We were looking for a quiet retreat for our family and have stayed at multiple cabins and this by far was the BEST!! The owners went above and beyond to make our stay exactly what we wanted. They took time to talk to us and we enjoyed their company. We stayed in the Beaver cabin and again was the best that we have stayed in. All the essentials were supplied, decor is perfect, cabin is beautiful! The environment is quiet and peaceful and neighbours were respectful. We came home feeling relaxed and refreshed from the city life and will definitely be booking again in the near future. Thank you Bearberry!
