Jackie has been my property manger for the past 10 years. We first started working together when I picked the wrong tenants for my rental property. She helped me work through the eviction process which resulted in new tenants being selected for the house. Since Jackie took over the selection of tenants I have not had any tenant issues and I believe this is due to her professional manner and the tenant selection process. Jackie also made sure to regularly communicate with me in regards to how routine house inspections went and if there was need of house maintenance. I trusted her enough to make decisions on her own because I knew that she would communicate with me and also give timely service to the tenants.
I will continue to recommend Jackie and the Better Home and Gardens staff to anyone who is looking for property management.

Long-time renter with Jackie & BHG and I can't give enough praise to this gem of a business for their professionalism and customer service. Both Jackie and Carolyn are supremely attentive, always friendly, and are quick to respond to needs. There's no better value than having a team as good as this one, when you rent a home, knowing that they're always dependable. From the maintenance team to management, just all around good stuff. They set the bar high and I couldn't see going anywhere else after having such a phenomenal experience here.

Big shoutout to Jackie Pfau with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate / Approved Properties. She’s phenomenal, not only a great property manager, also an awesome realtor.
I moved to Calgary last year, and Jackie has been managing my house ever since. She did a great job to find the best tenants for me, keep me posted on anything that came up and try her best to keep the house in good shape. When i decided to sell, Jackie became my realtor. It’s not the best time of year to sell in the fall / winter market, but Jackie managed to find some serious buyers and sell it within 2 months.

I’ve been using Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate for 6 years now to manage my rental. They have found me good renters and update me on any situations that come up. I am very happy to not have to deal with collecting rent and finding plumbers and electricians. I would(and have) recommended them to anyone needing a property manager.

Professional, great communication and was pleased with their Covid protocols before viewings. Had travelled from 4 hours to view a few units and Better Homes was such a nice change from the previous nightmare of a day trying to deal with Grassroots(no protocols, unprofessional, not even a 'Hello' when arriving to viewings. Terrible customer service and very unprofessional. Received a call from receptionist in regard to an application and she was unprofessional rude and basically told me not to try to apply with them again. I’ve lived in Grande Prairie for almost a decade, I’ve never had any problems with rentals or had service like this from any reality company.
