This is an account of the

quality of house management services of BirdsNest Property Management and an explanation for the one star rateing. ( not possible to give zero stars).

After successfuly using BirdsNest for a number of years with relatively  few problems  we returned to our house because the tenant had vacated the property owing 2 months rent.

Previously that year the tenant had left the house in the midst of winter leaving the water pressure on and in a cold snap a water pipe had burst causing total flooding throughout.

Over a period of 6 months BirdsNest  looked after a total rebuilding of the interior dealing with the insurance company and the contractors, or so we thought.

Upon returning to the property we found shoddy workmanship, incompleted work, damaged appliances, stolen appliances, house damage, replaced fixtures with much cheaper quality, the garage and yard full of junk littered with approximately 200 beer cans and bottles, along with damaged and  broken patio and bench furnature.

To BirdsNest credit, after the fact, they agreed to haul away the excess garbage and made an effort to remedy some of the shoddy workmanship although the damage to the house and a 6" cut in the new carpeting still exists as well as all the faucets were replaced with a very cheap quality.

To summarize;

- fridge and large convection/microwave oven missing.

- washing machine had to be replaced.

- dryer is missing a foot and back control panel is broken loose.

- stove front door panel and glass missing.

- 6" cut in new carpet.

- electrical outlets disconnected.

- vertical blinds down with all clips broken.

- back door damaged.

- drain pipe smashed flat.

- outside water tap missing.

- driveway wall and iron gate damaged.

- a number of broken bottles on the lawn making it now necessary to always wear shoes on the lawn.

In conclusion I personally would not recommend or consider BirdsNest if I wanted property management.
